"Caramel Ace?" She questioned. Blood drained from her face. The reason being, she recognizes this name and this appearance. The person---no character's body she took is the villainess from the twisted otome game "Love Magic!"

Caramel Ace, Duke Ace’s snobby daughter. She is a rotten vile person. She is unexpectedly beautiful, but she wears layers of makeup which makes her look like a middle aged woman. At the age of 6 was when her bad reputation started, it was on her social debut, a girl accidentally bumped into her and spilled their drink onto her dress. She was furious and she slapped that person and dumped a full cup of hot tea onto her face. 

As the royal Duchy of Ace holds power nearly equal to Royalty. No one dares to stop her from doing anything. Even the royals are afraid to ruin their relationship with them. Too much power held by a small child ruins them. Or perhaps she was rotten from the start.

Her life was full of luxury and comfort, however this life of luxury ended early by her own hands. You see, she is engaged to the Crown Prince, Prince Allen. The engagement was her wish. It was described in the game by the Crown Prince’s friend, Count Meller’s son, Owen: “She was obsessed with Allen, she would do anything to get him and at the end she succeeded, somehow, someway. On 22th August XXXX, the engagement between them was announced.”

What does this have to do with his death? The Crown Prince is a capture target. On his route, in a “good end”, he annulled his engagement with Caramel and married the heroine. Caramel tried to ruin their marriage using her magic, but it failed as all capture targets protected the heroine. Caramel ended up thrown to prison. Then the Crown Prince snuck in and killed her. In the “bad end”, the Crown Prince also annulled his engagement, however he didn’t marry the heroine, he killed the heroine as she distracts him from his life goal. Caramel ended up exiled.

You might think then as long as the heroine doesn’t go on Prince Allen’s route then it’s fine. However, with every other route the result for Caramel is always either exiled or killed, or exiled and killed.   

I.. wish to perish, erase me from this world. the girl thought as she slumped back to her bed. 

She wonders. I have always been an atheist. Is this a grudge from the God above? Why me? Why does God like to mercilessly play with me so?

As someone who was suddenly befallen with misfortune, it was human behaviour to pity themself so. She questioned over and over "why?" but as she has a rationale mind, she began to calm down.

Rather than going on a wild goose chase, it would be a wiser option to hit the sack and stack on energy.

Deciding on postponing the brainstorming to find the solutions, the caramel haired reincarnator closed her eyes as she hugged her blanket back to sleep.

A few hours later, she awoke with a clear mind, and a refreshed mentality to think about her current.. situation.

She realized that maybe it won't be as bad at all. At least here she has freedom. She could go out whenever (though she has adapted to the NEET lifestyle anyways). She could talk to anyone (though she doubts she still held any social skills).
