A slouched on the couch and adjusted his glasses, "I don't see why we had to get that dog— we've could've gotten any other one there, like a bull dog, a Dalmatian, a terrier- but no, we had to get that mutt..."
Bella chuckled, "Dear, you know the kids love Winston to death. He was the sweetest little puppy out of all of them."
"Still, why a... German Shepard... I would've rather wanted a naked cat over that thing..." A looked outside to see his kids, Bell and Britain running around with the small German Shepard pup. He huffed and took another sip out of a tall glass of wine.
The giant hound flopped itself by the roaring fire. Though this Caucasian Shepherd was covered in fur, this mammoth of a dog still liked the feel of a true wood lit fire.
Off to the side, Rinehart was dusting off shelves on an old bookshelf. He looked over his shoulder at the giant. Though Rinehart enjoyed the company of a pet, he never imagined one would be this large.
Kaiser, as the family called him, was simply a gentle giant. He was sweet to the kids, helpful to both Ahuva and Fraulein, and made sure to keep everything clean so he wouldn't make a mess for Rinehart. However, with all this, Rinehart was still cautious of him.
The light flickered on and off. The single source of sight in the room dangled from a single strand of string in the center of the room. The room itself was a sight for sore eyes- a mini fridge that college dorms usually have, a soul mattress off to one corner of the room, and the only window in the room being barely as big as a dinner plate. It was best for this small rectangular room to be dim.
Tony sat on the side of the mattress penning down the bill amounts for this month. They were unusually high this month because of the forced-unexpected doctor's visit. He'd have to cut off the saltine crackers in his ramen-cracker diet in order to pay off this monster of a bill.
"Heinz we have no time for this ridiculous manner of yours. If you ever want to grow up to amount to anything, you need to put away those childish ways of yours," Hartwig scowled. "An SS doesn't do any of this."
Heinz stood there for a few seconds not speaking, not even breathing. He knew he had to do as his father said, but he always messed up. He tried to be as hardy as Hartwig, he tried to stand as tall as Bartholomaus, and he tried to be as cold as Barnabus— still, he always seemed to fall along the way. He would always let some childish emotion out; some emotion that needed to be drowned out— never to see the light of day again. He knew he had to kill it. Even if it ruined him on the inside.
"I'm sorry, Sir. It won't happen again."
It was too much to handle. Life was just another knife in his back. He was tired of it all. He wanted to forget it all, he wanted to relax for once.
Tony sat there gazing at the sky. It was one of the few times Tony had a break to breathe.
The clouds rolled by as Tony stared into the bright blue abyss.
Gleb stood towering over Aleksander. After taken most of the beating, Alek was wheezing heavily. Blood slowly oozed out of his nose and whatever other bodily wound he had revived after fighting Gleb's henchmen, whom were soaking up the dust and gravel on the floor.
"You'll never get away with this Gleb..." Alek heaved out of his lungs.
Gleb let out a hearty chuckle, "Oh Alek, you're a fool. I've been doing this for a long, long time. You're just another unfortunate rat who stumbled into all this. It's a shame too, I could've used someone like you."
Gleb took out a small pistol he had hidden in his coat and aimed it directly at Alek, "I guess I'll have to settle for the stupid one."

Tony sat in his room checking over the monthly food layout. All of a sudden a tree comes through the wall and slaps Tony. Before Tony could realize what happened, he was covered in leaves and left very confused.
Slowly but surely, it slinked its way across the floor. Jumping from shadow to shadow to ensure it wasn't seen, this attacker was sure to catch their prey. Closer and closer it crept until it could hear the very heartbeat of its prey.
Pouncing was another story. The prey did not move an inch since it was spotted. The predator could wait. It must wait for the perfect shot.
Seconds past. Passed by ones, to tens, to twenties. Then soon came minutes.
Then all of a sudden, it twitched. But nothing more. The predator resumed to wait.
After what seemed like eternity, it moved. More than a twitch, it moved much more. The predator assumed the position to pounce. And then it went.
Loup: What do you call a dumb Russian?
Axim: don't you even think about i-

Axim: I damn well swear Loup you are an idiot.
Loup: Takes one to know one.
Axim: LOUP. CUT IT.
Maria finished bandaging up Jakob's cuts. These were the same kinds of wounds he had weeks ago. Something he was doing was injuring him. With what he has studied, Maria knew these were not accidental ones. These wounds were inflicted by someone.
"... Jakob, I know someone is hurting you."
Jakob grew deathly quiet. His face lost all expression.
"You don't have to hide who it is. I can make it so you won't be near them anymore."
"... You'd get in trouble..."
"No, I'm sure I wouldn't get in trouble for dealing with one of you."
"... he's not one of me. He's one of you."
