It's been 5 months, 2 weeks, and 3 days since the outbreak.

Scientists were trying to bring extinct and endangered animals back to a safe number, but in the process, a mutation of rabies caused complete chaos.

Scientists and politicians were shipping endangered animals from tropical areas in hopes of breeding them so they don't go extinct.

It was a bad idea, to begin with, but the higher-ups didn't listen and continued the project.

In one of the sanctuaries, an Amur Leopard escaped and attacked a worker. The leopard got gunned down immediately but the employee was bleeding out at an alarming rate.

He was brought to a hospital, not for the welfare of the employee, but so the news doesn't spread and the project wouldn't be funded anymore.

 He died later that night

well... not exactly.

In the middle of the night, he came back

 as, well, a zombie basically.

And was hungry for blood: human flesh.

That was the night the world ended, and woke up in mayhem.

I'm walking around in an abandoned shopping mall in Busan.

It's dead, deserted, empty: I was alone.

 But then I hear static.

My head darted in every direction for any sign of life, a person. I realized it was the overhead speakers and after the static stopped, music started playing.

I recognized it as one of my favorites from a group I loved, 134340 by BTS. It had a soft upbeat vibe and was resounding, echoing in the empty mall.

For a song that used to bring me such joy, happiness, safety, it caused unknown emotions to surge through me and had panic swell up inside of me.

Do I cry out of joy, cry out of sadness, stay for the end, or run.

As the song came to a close, I can hear the distant groans and haste footsteps of them,

the dead ones...

please don't make fun of me I'm not a writer, this just came to me  d(^u^)b
