You opened your eyes, feeling like you were on something comfy.
You looked at the roof, which looked emerald-shaped.

(Y/N)(Thoughts):Where am I?

You hear someone next to you, and realise it's Subaru.

Subaru:I don't know this ceiling.

He got up, and looked at you.

Subaru:(Y/N)? Oh thank god you're okay.

(Y/N):Let's just focus on the important thing right now.
Where are we?

You two were sitting on a big bed that could fit more than 3 people.
Subaru noticed something, and looked at his stomach.

Subaru:The wound on my stomach is gone.
Everything considered, it must be her.
Emilia's healing power, huh?

You noticed that you weren't wearing your (F/C) shirt and pants anymore, but you were wearing (S/F/C) (Second favorite color) pyjamas.

(Y/N):Woah, these are comfy as heck.
And my shoulder got healed as well.
I can't feel the pain anymore.

You and Subaru started walking outside the door, and into a hallway.
The hallway seemed like it belonged to a mansion.
It had a red carpet across it, and there were blue lamps on the walls, and yellow lights on the ceiling.
You looked around, and noticed a picture next to the door.
On closer inspection, it was a painting of a forest and moon.
You and Subaru kept walking and talking.

Subaru:Well, at any rate, it seems we got out of using Return By Death this time...

(Y/N):I did not agree to that name, but you're right.

Subaru:But normally, wouldn't you wake up to a girl by your bed asking, "Are you awake," after she'd cared for you all this time?
For a story about being summoned to another world, it's kinda flawed.

(Y/N):Not every story is flawless, Subaru.
But yeah, why wasn't there anyone besides us waiting for us to wake up?

The two of you kept walking, but soon noticed that same painting you saw back next to the door.

Subaru:A looping hallway...

(Sees the painting)Wait, nevermind.

What you saw was a young looking girl with red and pink clothes with a tiny crown on their head, holding a book and looking annoyed at you and Subaru.
The inside the room looked to be a library, and there was a round small table with a teacup behind the girl.

Girl:What a profoundly aggravating man you are, I suppose.

Subaru suddenly started shouting,

Subaru:First NPC found!

(Y/N):Can you please be quiet?
My brain feels like shit.

Subaru:Sorry.
(To the girl):With that cold attitude, you're gonna ruin your cute face.
Come on, smile... smile.

Girl:A derisive sneer is the only smile worth giving you.

(Y/N):Ouch...

Subaru:Are you mad because I guessed correctly on the first try?
