Bible Reading (5):
Read the following carefully:

Revelation 14:6-7
[6]Then I saw another angel flying in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach to those who dwell on the earth—to every nation, tribe, tongue, and people—
[7]saying with a loud voice, “Fear God and give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgment has come; and worship Him who made heaven and earth, the sea and springs of water.”

Meditation (20):
The first part of the message of the first angel mentions about fear and give glory. Meditate on the call of the first angel to fear God. What does it mean to really fear God? Fear Him that He might kill us if we don't do as He commanded? What sort of fear does the angel mean?

The second thing on the first part is to give glory to God. What does it mean to give glory to Him? Why do we need to praise and give glory to God? Is it because He wants to be flattered by His goodness? Do we give the glory to God?

In this message, it seems that glory and fear to God is closely related. Why is that? Why is fear and glory correlated?

Heart Searching (15)Questions to ask yourself:Do I fear God right now? If so, what kind of fear am I handling in my heart? Is it the fear that God wanted?

Questions to ask yourself:
Do I fear God right now? If so, what kind of fear am I handling in my heart? Is it the fear that God wanted?

Do I praise God in all times and in all moments of my life? Whenever I am praised for my good works or my talents, do I take the credit by saying thank you? Or fake humbleness by saying, it's nothing? How is that dangerous and how is taking the glory for myself not good for me? Do I really deserve to be praised? Are the good things I own and have because of who I am and my hard work?

Do I have this thought: I work so hard, I deserved to be praised more. Am I willing to change?

 Am I willing to change?

Psa. 22:23
Rev. 15:4
2 Cor. 5:10

"To fear God does not mean to be afraid of Him but to take Him seriously and allow His presence in our lives. God’s end-time people are the ones who fear God (see Rev. 11:18, Rev. 19:5). God desires His people to love Him (Deut. 11:13, Matt. 22:37), obey Him (Deut. 5:29, Eccl. 12:13), and reflect His character (Gen. 22:12)."
