At the Dusk

The dusk invited the moon to come closer, as the two lovebirds' eyes wandered far away into the horizons. Their hands intertwined while their hearts beat erratically.

The girl said whatever needed to be said. The boy could not accept reality.

History.

There was something that you'd never be able to erase, no matter how hard you try. History shaped our present and future.

"I-I loved you I think I will have a hard time to forget you," The girl sobbed into her Kimono sleeves.

"I loved you and will always love you," The boy softly caressed the girl's cheeks to erase her tears.

"You said, someday I'll find someone better than you? But no one is better than you, maybe someone more Korean than you." The boy kneeled in front of her and held both of her hands. His light blue colored Hanbok gleamed under the moonlight.

The girl stopped crying. Her swollen eyes stared into his soul.

There were unspeakable words that suffocate them greatly.

Until Japan and Korea find peace, we wouldn't be able to be together. We should meet again in our next life, together, in a beautiful paradise.
