Author's Notes/ Welcome:

     Hello everyone! I am so glad you have decided to read my story "Young and Careless" I hope all of you enjoy and bare with me on this new and exciting journey. I am fairly new at this so please bare with me. I have so many plans and ideas for this story, but hopefully with your comments and suggestions I can further improve this story and hopefully my other stories in the future. I would love to hear feedback from all of you! At the end of each chapter, I would like to put an Author's note just so I can keep you guys updated on everything plus when I'll be posting the next chapter to the story. I will also be doing Shout-outs, so if you would like one just add this story to your library, vote and comment "done" when all that is completed I'll choose the person and post that in the Author's Note Section.    As I sit in this uncomfortable hospital bed staring at the dull grey walls, I couldn't help but to think about him. I know I shouldn't, but I just can't help it. He is in me. He's the blood flowing in my veins, the sweat escaping from my open pores, he is everything. He was my everything. I should be angry at him, shit I should even hate him, but I can't. Every fiber in my petite body wants to hate him even hurt him, but I cannot.I was naïve thinking we would work. I wanted the happily ever after,but that was too much to ask for. I was young and careless whenever I was with him and that was the first major sign.

                              
1 YEARS EARLIER

    "Honey, breakfast!" I heard my mother shout from the bottom of the staircase. I huffed taking one last glance in the mirror. It was the first day of school, and I wanted to make sure I looked somewhat decent. I wore a white sundress, with a pair of black and white Vans. I pulled my brown  hair into a ponytail tugging the pony one last time before heading out. My makeup was light. I don't like putting too much makeup on, one because I looked like a clown if I do, and two I just don't know how to apply it properly. Light application of foundation, mascara,and some lipgloss is the usual.
"Good morning, mom." I said as I walked into the kitchen.
"Good morning, sweetheart." She smiled warmly as she flipped the pancake on the griddle.
"Morning, brat." I look over to my brother, who has his mouth stuffed with bacon. Gosh, he's a pig. Aiden, is my twin brother. He thinks just because he was born a minute before me, he has control of his 'little sister' He is wrong.
"Find a ride to school, I'm going with the boys." He said with his mouth filled.
"Aiden, don't talk with food in your mouth." My mom scolded.
"But, you were my ride?" I raised my voice.
"Well, now I am not. I'm going with the guys and no girls are allowed. It's senior year, I don't want to be in the car with my little sister." He is such an ass.
"Aiden, you do realize you were only born a minute before I was and we're both high school seniors?"
"Your point?" I wasn't in the mood to argue with him, not today. Today is my last day of high school and last thing I want to do is start my day off negative.
"Whatever I'll hitch a ride from Maddie." His smile grew.
     I called Maddie, and asked if she would mind picking me up for school. She didn't mind. Maddie has been my best friend since the first grade ever since she beat up Hannah West in the playground for bullying me. Ever since that day Maddie and I have been inseparable. You wouldn't think Maddie and I would be friends. We're the complete opposite from one another. We both have our separate interests and ideas, but for some odd reasons we click easily.
    I could spot Maddie's old 1999 green Beetle from a mile away. I still have no idea how that thing is even running.
    "Stop, day dreaming and get it!" I smiled at Maddie taking in her bright and too revealing outfit.
    "You do know Principal Flanagan is going to yell at you for wearing those,right?" I pointed to her black thigh high fish net socks.
"And I'll tell him to shove it." She stuck out her tongue. She never cares what people think about her. She's her own person and does what ever she wants. Sometimes I wish I was like Maddie.
     After about ten minutes of driving we made it to school. My last, first day of McKinley High School. Part of me will miss it,but the other part of me won't.
"What's your first class?" Maddie asked as she retrieved her book bag from the back seat.
"Erm, Earth Science with Mrs. Rossi."
"Great, me too! Let's get going before we're late."
"Okay, but first I want to put all these books in my locker, they are heavy." She nodded and we began making our way inside the school.
     Everything still looks the same. The walls are still yellow and white while the lockers are navy blue. The floors are still ugly tiles that reminds me of a hospital and the school mascot to which is a lion is plastered on almost every wall.  Same old,same old.
"Ugh she looks like a whore." Maddie said in disgust. I turned to see who she was talking about. It was Hannah. Maddie was correct. She walked in the middle as her two side kicks Olivia and Taylor walked besides her. They all had tall black heels, with short skirts and a crop tops, all different colors. How are they even allowed to wear that in school? Isn't that some sort of dress code violation?
"Nice dress, Virgin Allie." Hannah smirked as she looked up and down at my white dress. I could feel my cheeks redden in embarrassment.
"Thank you..." I looked down at the ugly tiles, not wanting to lock eyes with her. I could hear Olivia and Taylor laughing behind her. God, these girls are mean.
"Hey Hannah, I didn't know you worked at the strip club? Those 6 inch heels and your lack of clothing makes it seem so." Maddie snapped back at her. Ever since first grade Maddie and Hannah have been at war with each other.
"Really funny,Maddie. Why don't you thank your mom for the heels? She definitely knows how to walk in them and take off her clothes within seconds." I grabbed Maddie's arm refraining her from taking out Hannah's eyeballs. Hannah walked away achieving her goal, making Maddie mad.
"She's such a bitch!" A now, angry Maddie said.
"I know she is,but I wouldn't even worry about her. The bleach in her head is probably making her all sorts of twisted." Maddie nodded. I put all my belongings in my locker and took out my Earth Science binder.
"Let's go, we're late to class." I interlocked arms with Maddie and we made our way down the hall.

Hey guys! This is the end of Chapter One. Sorry if it was a little short, hopefully the other chapters to come will be slightly longer. I just wanted you guys to briefly get to know Allie.
