We ran past the house with pack members in heat but this time there was no temptation this time. I would shift in to my snake form as I'm quicker and can cover more ground in my human form plus I was a bit faster than most wolves when it came to running? Or slithering? but if I did it hear I may be steped on plus relationship wise it would be better to remain a human. Before we reached the border, we were joined by the beta and the alpha once more while Matthew the warrior was doing their best to keep up with me and Jason in their human forms.

"Alpha" Jason panted and throw the shirt to me, I caught it while the alpha eyed me suspiciously, I wish he would stop looking at me in that tone of voice.

"Don't make me regret this decision" he said while pinching his nose.

"Yes sir" I nodded to him and made my way out the border.

I stuck my tongue out to taste the air, you know like snakes do but in a human form, it's fun. I could sense the wolves behind me, a command taste of the earth from the wolves; I could also sense Kat. I made my way to where she was hiding as she was probably sacred and nervous so she would be small and ready to fight any one after she changed to a form more capable to fight but of course I told her to stay a panther. I was several feet away from the waiting wolves and turned behind a tree to look down and see a small dark purple furred ball, it was Kat. I stepped on a stick close to her and she jumped and snapped her face to mine and changed back to her human form, which she hasn't been for mouths, I could tell by how strained her shift looked.

Kat had a long chocolate brown hair, her eyes were different, one was an amber yellow and the other a sky blue; I love her eyes as it's like a little nudge to our deep secret. I grin down at her while handing her the shirt, she raged it on grinned back at me, suddenly she pounced at me like she was still a panther, Kat throw her arms around me and griped me tight, I returned the tight hug spinning her lightly.

"Found you" my voice was strained as I was trying not to cry while I buried my head into her pale white neck.

"Finally" Kat sighed and released a lot of tension from her body and broke down, now I was crying and she was crying too, we are both idiots at heart really.

We stayed there crying for a bit, I finally chocked back my tears and pulled a still weeping Kat off me and looked her over, noticing the few new scares that almost blended in to her flesh and the shirt that drowned her starved body.

"Come on, you need rest and food" I said encouragingly and Kat finally stopped crying and nodded happily and we made our way back to the autumn fall pack holding hands. When we finally came back in to view and re-entered the border, Jason ran over and almost hugged Kat who hid behind me chewing on the sleeve of the shirt but she saw who it was and gave Jason a brief hug out of pure relief of seeing another friendly face. Matthew waved bye to me as he changed and went back to his duties while the alpha and beta lead the way back to the bungalow with me, Kat and Jason following behind them. Kat looked over at the house where she could clearly smell the heat then looked at me; Kat caught my eye and slightly fanned her face with her hand, this was normally the signal for her starting her heat. I stared at her wide eyed.

"Really, now?" I asked her with a groan.

"I think so" Kat nodded but when back to face the men in front.

"Well today's going to be rough" I when back to look at the approaching bungalow.

"I'll say" Kat sighted.

The alpha and beta entered the house and when to sit in the living room while Jason reclaimed the chair he was in before I moved to the chair I was in before so now I was opposite the alpha and Kat sat opposite the beta with slightly misty eyes. It started. Kat's face now turned slightly pink and the slight mist had turned in to clouds, her left hand was unconsciously scratching her right wrist lightly to not cause any damage yet, I would usually tap her hand to make her stop but it was too risky now.

"I'm alpha Marcus" The blond haired, chocolate eyed man introduced himself.

"I'm beta Charlie" The black haired, green eyes man introduced himself.

"Hello alpha Marcus, Hello beta Charlie, I'm Matthew, I'm a rogue" I introduced myself to the men and took a quick glance at Kat who was not paying attention "and this is my sister Kathryn who goes by Kat, she is rogue like me but changes in to a panther" I introduced Kat who nodded to Marcus and Charlie but quickly zoned back out, it going to be a long afternoon.

As I sat listening to the alpha tell us the rules I notice Kat's behavior become more erratic. Her face was more flushed and her eyes where glazed over, I quickly looked at her hands to only see her light scratching had got worse her skin were red and raw. She was going in to heat and she was doing all she could to control it like usual. I hissed at her viciously which made her and everyone else jump and look at me, Kat's eyes pleading to me, I sighted; I don't want to but I going to have too.

"Sorry to interrupt you alpha Marcus but I've got to deal with her first" I say gesturing towards Kat who was now looking slightly relived and take Kat's hand and pulls her up, I could tell that she silenced a moan which knowing that would happen gave me a unpleasant shiver, I hate dealing with her in heat it make me feel gross.

I pulled her in to the room with the small window, with my back to the door I lifted Kat's left hand and began to too lick her wound; this is a special thing we have as sibling and will only share this trait with our mate. We don't mind licking each other's wounds but when Kat's in heat it gets weird as all her senses go in to over drive and it don't matter who touches she will still act the same well for the first day anyways.

"Stay here we will chat later" I tell her firmly and leave the room with a look saying don't-hurt-your-self-anymore-and-go-to-bed.

With the door closed behind me, I sat in front of it guarding my sister from the men in front of me. I notice the beta stare at the closed door with lustful eyes, while the alpha was half way between standing and sitting down while his eyes showed worry.

"Sorry for the interruption do you care to continue?" I asked with pure politeness it was almost sarcastic.

"Ok explain what just happened!!!" the beta exclaimed snapping out of his lustful stat.

"Kat just started her heat and that's just the way she deals with it" I waved him off

"Wait, what I couldn't smell or sense a thing" the alpha sounded shocked but honestly I don't blame him, that's just one of the things Kat blacks out.

"Wait she can control her heat?" The beta asked "but how?" his voice held an apprehensive tone.

"I don't know she just can along with a few other things that we are not disclosing" I state firmly "as I said we will stay here until tomorrow and leave so we will not tell a random pack our secrets" I fix the men with a glare that told them to either back off or that they have over stepped.

"Sorry we over stepped" the alpha bowed "just don't leave this house, got it?"

"Got it" I repeated, with that they both left.

"Can we go to our human home" Kat's weak voice whimpered through the door.

"We'll see what happens" I say back unsure, I want to go back there, but is it safe for us.

"Alright, I just miss my friends, do you miss yours?" her voice was low and weak.

"Yes I do but I must keep you safe" my voice was low to match hers.

"You have a life too you shouldn't waste it on me" a soft whine followed her words.

"Shhh, go to sleep I'll be here if you need me"

"Alright"
