"Hmm I'm not going to have a started and I would like the chicken please" Mr. Blue tie sounded bossy and bored but didn't break eye contact with me has weird. I noted on my pad, I had one person not having a starter and moved to remove his smaller cutlery and soup spoon.

"What is the soup of the day?" Mr. Red tie demanded in a cold tone, I was used to this sort of attitude; you would be surprised how many people talk to you like that.

"Its carrot and coriander with a bit of chill" I recalled off confidently.

"Alright, I'll have that and the cod.... please" the last word sounded forced but he said it all the same, I moved around him and removed the smaller knife and fork; while I was still there I took their menus.

I returned the menus and the cutlery to their right full places and took myself and the order pad to the bar. I crossed out the dished that no one wanted and called for Holly to check my pad.

"Holly can you stamp this please" I say handing her my pad.

"Yeah" she sighed, and stamped the paper; holly then shuffled through them for the pink copy, and then handed the blue and white back to me.

"Thanks" I nodded at her before taking off to the kitchen; Lucy was now on the pass.

"Hey, how are you doing?" I asked.

"Alright I'm just board" Lucy groaned, quite honestly I feel the same.

"Well unfortunately it gets like that, can you check this on please" I patted her on the shoulder and handed her the white copies of the order.

I turn on the spot as the stand are right behind us, 'I have three people so I only need one stand' I thought as I grabbed a sliver stand and brought it over to my table and returned to the kitchen to await my starters. While I was waiting I pulled on my white gloves, I like these gloves as they remind me of the ones royalty wear or old fashioned rich people, but theses ones protect my hands from the heat of the plated or blow.

When I hear my table number called out, I collect the try with my food, well it's not my food you get what I mean. As I make my way to the table I begin to feel the strained on my arms and shoulder blades weirdly enough as I carry the tray. When at the table the conversation was back to a pleasant family talk, I handed out my two starters and removed the tray and the stand back in to the kitchen and when to stand by the bar and zone out for a bit.

After a couple of minutes I when back to the table for a check back. "Excuse me is everything alright with your starters?" I asked but all I got back were nods but that was good enough for me; I turn to leave when the elderly man began to talk to me.

"What is your name again dear?" He asked me politely.

"Kathrine" I say with a smile. (May not be an actually way to spell Kathryn but hay Ho)

"It's a pleasure to meet you Kathrine, please call me Sam" The elderly man

"I'm sorry sir but I can't do that, although it a pleasure" I gave him a small bow and noticed Mr. Red tie had a rather foul look on his slightly red face, I guess the soup is quite hot.

"Net, Brendon vedet sebya khorosho, vy dolzhny lezhat' nizko, i seychas ne vremya i ne mesto, chtoby sozdavat' problem" Sam spoke fluently in a Russian accent as well, I was quite impressed but this comment left Mr. Red tie or Brandon with a nasty glare in his eyes

"Chto iz etogo" Mr. Red tie snapped back.

"Sorry Kathrine you must for give his behaver" Sam apologised

I shook my head "Net, vse khorosho, u menya bylo namnogo khuzhe, that was very fluent" I noticed the all tence when I spoke and commented on Sams and Brandon's Russian, I smiled sadly I haven't spoken any Russian in mouths. "Sorry you were speaking Russian right?" I asked nervously in to their shocked silence

"Yes they were" Mr. Blue tie confirmed "how do you know Russian" he asked with an air of suspicion.

"it was my brothers chosen language so I learnt a bit to know what he was saying and he did the same with my chosen language" I was smiling at the memory of bad mouthing our step mum in different languages in front of her, that is the memory I'll take to the gave smiling at.

"What other languages do you speak" Sam snapped out of shock

"Japanese fluently, bits of German, Icelandic and Norwegian"I listed

"Whats your brother's name?" Mr. Blue tie asked

"Matthew" I say blankly

"What does he do?" Sam asked with a strange look

"He used to be a plane engineer until a job got him killed" I say flatly

"What was the job?" Mr. Red tie asked, now I am surprised

"Hmm he was meant to build a privet plain from this rich Russian family, but someone wanted them gone and messed up his plane so it would kill the new owner but on the flight test it went down with him still in it"

"I'm sorry for your loss"

"No it's alright, while he was alive he was happy and that all that matters" I return to smiling as it was better than crying. "Are you all done with your started" I asked and they nodded with a stained look.

I cleared the pots away and made my way back in to the kitchen, I made my way over to the pot wash and separated the cutlery from the dishes. I took a minute to regain my posture and asked chef from my tables mains. I grabbed two stands and returned to the table where the conversation was in Russian this time but I didn't pay it ant attention and returned back to the kitchen to wait for the mains and put my gloves on again.

When again my table was called out, I was right again in thinking I would need two stands, while I was carrying one tray, Lucy was carrying the other. Once the trays were on the stands Lucy scuttled back off to the kitchen, while I dished out the food and offered veg the table was quite like there was an untold secret; I silver served the veg, stacked the trays and returned them to the kitchen then went back for the stands; once out of the kitchen this time I stood by the bar again but this time I surveying the whole room. Most of the other customers where either finishing their mains or were waiting for their deserts.

I would continue but I really don't want to be reliving this i do it every Friday but not as interesting or as event full.

Plus this is already 4 pages long so I'm gonna leave it there.
