Satsuki leaned back, listening to the conversation. Just a few more days... huh.

-

A few days later, Satsuki was walking to the kitchen to help the girls with dinner when she ran into Giannini, who was wiping sweat off his forehead.

"Giannini!" She greeted him. "How's work?"

"Satsuki-sama!" He let out a relieved sigh. "Somehow, I managed to finish most of it on time!"

"That's good!"

The door next to them opened and Tsuna walked out with a worried expression on his face as he ruffled his hair in slight frustration.

"What did I do with it..."

"Did something happen, boss?" Giannini asked.

"Giannini... Satsuki-san..."

"Jyuudaime!"

"Yo! Hey there too, Miss Manager and Mister!"

Yamamoto and Gokudera walked down the hall. Reborn was sitting on Yamamoto's shoulder a small smile on his face.

"Are you guys done with your training for the day?"

"Yup! It was great!"

"Me too. I'm just relaxing for now."

"At last..." Reborn sighed.

"The raid is tomorrow, huh." Satsuki finished.

Tsuna laughed nervously and excused himself, running down the hall. Satsuki excused herself as well, walking down to Hibari's quarters. She found Kusakabe pouring some tea in cups when she entered and offered to help. They carried the cups on trays to where Ryohei, Lal, and Hibari were waiting.

"We're here!" She called, placing the cups in front of everyone before sitting next to Hibari.

They all sat in silence before Kusakabe spoke up. Satsuki sipped her tea as she heard the usual yelling coming from Ryo-nii and nonchalant indifference from Hibari. She perked up when she heard Reborn come in, wearing the required Yukata, his fedora gone, showing off his spiky hair.

"You're all excited, huh? How was it, Kusakabe? Are the results from the simulation of tomorrow's raid done yet? You called me here for that, right?"

Kusakabe nodded. "The hyper computer has calculated the success rate of tomorrow's fight. We estimated the number of people judging from the scale of the enemy's facilities. Taking the average fighting ability of the Millefiore into account, combined with other significant factors... our rate of success is merely 0.0024%. Our situation is bas, no matter how you look at it."

"Well, that's just the way it is." Reborn stated, unperturbed.

"Hmph, an estimate that says we're bound to fail unless a miracle happens...? Keep this from Sawada and the others or they'll lose motivation."

"Hey," Satsuki chimed. "Don't count them out just yet. You never know if that miracle will actually happen."

"So the figures are meaningless..." Reborn stated, shocking the few in the room, excluding Satsuki and Hibari. "The things that can't be translated into numbers... that's where their strength lies."

Satsuki gave a small laugh, bringing her tea cup up for another warming sip.

After an exciting dinner, Satsuki went into her office for preparations of the coming attack. She kept her double-edged sword on her hip and reached into a drawer for her box weapon and a present from her father, a pistol. She holstered it onto the opposite hip and made sure she had some refills hanging around her waist and right leg.
