1 - MAMA MO

"Callie!" my mom called. "Magbihis ka! We're going somewhere."

OMG, we're going on a vacation?

I saw my twin sister pass by me, "Cami, san daw tayo?"

"Travel agency," she replied.

"Ay, kala ko naman magbabakasyon tayo," I facepalmed myself.

She laughed, "Grabe first day palang. Chill muna tayo, Cal. And besides, travel agency nga daw, diba? Baka magpapa-book si mom ng vacation!"

My eyes lit up, "MOM! SAN TAYO MAGBABAKASYON?"

"Secret!" my mom replied. "Basta magbihis ka na."

And you know me, patay gutom ako sa vacation, so I went to my closet, and chose an outfit to wear.

'Di naman ako magdadamit ng bongga; travel agency lang naman kami pupunta, eh.

And anyway, even if we are going somewhere, I still won't dress as much.

Because 'di naman ako mahilig sa fashion.

Unlike my twin, gusto niya lagi siyang fabulous.

Kahit mag-grogrocery lang kami, naka branded pa siyang damit, and talagang inaayos niya pa hair niya.

We're quite the opposite, actually.

Maarte siya, while me, on the other hand, always seek for adventures.

I'm OK kahit madumihan ako or masugatan ako, basta it's exciting!

My sister would never go on adventures with me.

Unless it's girly, of course.

I settled on a green shirt and denim shorts, and paired it with white sneakers.

I went out of my closet, and proceeded to the living room, where I found Cami wearing a long-sleeved, yellow, floral polo blouse and a denim skirt.

"Sis, where you goin'? Dun lang tayo sa kanto!" I explained, trying to get that to her head.

"And where are you going?" her eyes widened as she scanned my outfit. "Where's your fashion sense?"

I rolled my eyes, "You're overdressed!"

"And you're underdressed!"

"Hoy, magsitigil na kayo!" my mom said as she went up to us, hitting us both on the head. "Gulo niyo, ha."

And with that, we went out the house, and went to the nearby travel agency.

A few minutes later, we arrived there.

It was really near, it was basically a walking distance lang.

My mom knocked on the door, as a woman in her early 40's let us in.

"Miss, pwede po magpa-book?" my mom inquired.

"San po, ma'am?"

"Sa Boracay," she grinned.

Me and my sister looked at each other with mouths hung and eyes wide open.

We squealed.

"Mag-boboracay tayo!"

We arrived home, and we still can't believe it.

We're finally going somewhere this summer!

And it's in Boracay!

You wouldn't believe how much we hugged our mom when we got home.

We were just too happy.
