The next day I woke up and went to go take a shower. I got out and started getting ready for school. I put on jean shorts and a sweatshirt that said Bridge Way High on it. I combed my hair and braided it to the side. I put on a little mascara and my old high top black converse. I ran downstairs and grabbed a bagel for breakfast then got my things and ran out the door. I started walking towards the school when I hear a voice yelling from behind me. I turn to see Ash yelling for me to wait for him. I smile and cross my arms while I wait on the edge of the side walk. He finally caught up after about 1 minute. He turned to me said "You look nice today". I smiled and said "I really tried to dress up today do you like it?" I was being sarcastic but he smiled and said seriously "Yes I do". I giggled and kept
walking. After a pause of silence he looked at me and said "Do you wanna go out for lunch today?" I smiled and said "Yea, sure, where do you want to eat?" He laughed and said "You're the girl it's your decision". I thought about it for a second and said "How about the new Mexican restaurant downtown?" He smiled as we walked up to the school doors "It's a date!" He said and I walked to class with my heart racing because I was so excited about lunch already.
