"DEATH."

this was something choi soyeon is afraid of facing. almost every single breathing person is practically afraid of the idea of death and its inevitability.

she did not want to lose it all. the thought of having to leave this world for eternity makes her sick.

she did not believe in the after life. she did not believe in heaven nor hell. soyeon was an atheist after all, leading her not to believe in the occult. she believed that once the heart stops beating, once every single organ in a person's body stops functioning, once the brain shuts down, it turns into total black out. that's why she was scared of dying. she was scared of losing her emotions, her memories and thoughts. it would become completely useless since the brain has lost its function to feel and think. nothing more but a lifeless body.

but that's what she thought.

min yoongi had already looked deeply into that word when he was in the ripe age of twelve.

at first, he did not want to stress over the thought of dying. it made him scared and depressed, maybe words weren't enough to describe what he felt that time. but at some point, he felt like his soul was craving for acceptance. so it took yoongi a few sleepless nights of overthinking about his inevitable loss in the world.

the time came when he fully accepted the idea of dying. it felt like a huge weight was lifted off from his shoulders. he finally decided to live life to the fullest, to live his life in a way he imagined it to be.

but when his time finally came, the relief that yoongi once felt had a 360 degree turn. an unimaginable amount of fear hit him like a bucket of cold water.

that was when he realized, he was already
in the point of no return.
