Olivia's P.O.V.
I'm Olivia Marais, yes, the sister to Jonah Marais.
I try to stay in the shadows most of the time because Jonah is supposed to be the star of the family, I don't want to take that from him.
It's what he loves to do, he loves to make others happy.
Anyways, since he's been in the band Why Don't We, I've gotten really close to all of his friends. There's one in particular, his name is Zach Herron.
We've been dating now for a year and three months and I couldn't be happier.
~time skip two months~
"Babe? Are you okay?" My boyfriend of a year and five months asked
"Yeah. I'm fine" I replied leaning over the toilet
"Are you sure? Do you want me to come i-"
"No!" I yelled, "you can't see me like this"
And then I heard a door open
"Zach I told you not to come in" I began sobbing
"Liv, I'm gonna have to see you like this sooner or later" Zach smiled as he pulled my hair out of my face and into a ponytail. "What's wrong?"
"Nothing, I just feel a little sick" I tried to smile but it only resulted in me throwing myself back at the toilet.
"Okay we're going to a doctor" Zach said before leaving the bathroom
A few minutes passed and I heard someone come running in the room
"What's wrong sis?" Jonah asked concerned as he dabbed my head with a cold wash rag.
"Nothing. Just a stomach bug" I answered
"Zach is getting the car ready and he already put a trash can in there for you." Jonah said as he gently picked me up and carried me downstairs to Zach
"I'll let you know as soon as I hear something" Zach told Jonah after he sat me down in the passenger seat
"Alright. Let me know as soon as you know something" Jonah said
"I will" Zach confirmed before jumping in the car
At the hospital there were a lot of nurses rushing around. One of the other patients explained that minutes before we arrived a man was pulled from a car that had ran off of a bridge and landed on a bank of rocks before rolling down into a dried lake bed.
"Marais, Olivia?" A nurse called.
Zach and I both began walking towards her
"Okay Ms. Marais, what's been going on?"
"Um I have been throwing up all day and I can't eat anything" I explained
"She can't even eat crackers or drink ginger ale" Zach joined in
"Okay we're going to run a few tests. The first one will be a pregnancy test only because you of child bearing age." The nurse explained as she handed me a cup...
I took the cup with me to the restroom and stared at it...
It's not possible that I'm pregnant...
Zach and I always use a condom and I'm on birth control...
There's no way
Condoms prevent pregnancy and have a pretty high success rate
