Prologue

Prologue:

"Doctor. Delos Reyes may appointment po kayo ngayon."

Once i heard my secretary's voice from the intercom i took a deep breath and went out of my office.

Pumunta ako sa parking lot dahil naroroon ang sasakyan ko. I took a deep sigh before starting my car's engine.

Agad akong pumasok sa hospital na pag mamay-ari ng pamilya ko, ako ang director dito. But being a director and also one of the active doctors here ay sobrang multi tasking. It's like between Life and Death. Yeah for a doctor Like me its always been life and Death.

Sometimes, i just wanted to decline my patients, but i know that they really need me and i promised my self that i will be a good doctor and i want to be a good example to those people who's aiming to be one of us.

"Good Morning Doctor. Delos Reyes!" Masiglang bati nila saakin. Nginitian ko sila at binati pabalik.

Pumasok ako sa loob ng elevator at kasama ko na ang aking sekretarya na si Justine. Justine is a girl, yes babae siya. Mukang pang lalaki lang talaga ang pangalan niya. She's been loyal to me and she's with me ever since i started working here.

"Jus, Sino ba ang nag pa set ng appointment saakin ngayon?" Tanong ko sakanya habang tinitingnan ang oras saaking relo. Mamaya kase ay susunduin ako ng mga kapatid ko, When i say MGA marami sila.

"It's the CEO of Lewis Enterprise and the Former CEO L&A Hotels and Resorts . Si Mrs. Andrea Stacey Lewis - Alcantara." Nanlaki agad ang mata ko sa sinabi ni jus. Of course who wouldn't? Mrs. Alcantara is one of the most respected woman when it comes to business at hindi lang yun, former Idol pa siya ng sikat na sikat na girl group noon.

"Oh and Doctor. Delos Reyes, she's with her daughter si Mrs. Kendra Smith Alcantara-Perez." Tumango-tango ako at huminto na ang elevator sa floor kung nasaan ang aking main office. Pumasok ako sa loob at naka ngiting binati si Mrs. Alcantara at ang kanyang anak na si Ate Kendra.

I know ate kendra because she's one of the people that motivated me to work hard, i idolize her because she's indeed a great business woman na namana niya ata sa kanyang mommy. How i love their genes!

"Oh gosh kate dear how are you? Its been 3 years. You look more beautiful!" Sinalubong ko ang yakap ni ate kendra at nakipag beso ako sakanya.

"Mas maganda ka naman ate. Blooming na blooming ka! Iba talaga pag may asawa eh." Sabi ko at nag tawanan naman kami. Bigla namang tumikhim si Mrs.Alcantara oh yes! Nandito nga pala siya, nakakahiya! Baka sabihin ang rude ko.

"Hi dear. I'm Andrea Stacey Lewis Alcantara and its nice to finally meet you." Nag hand shake kami at niyakap niya ako. Niyakap ko rin siya, gosh! This is Mrs. Alcantara duh!

"Nice to finally meet you din po Mrs.Alcantara its an honor." Napatawa si ate kendra na nasa tabi ko pati narin si Mrs.Alcantara

"Just call me tita, Okie? And besides im close with your mom and dad. Your not new to me." Tumango ako at ngumiti. Pinaupo ko sila at nagsimula na kaming mag usap.

"So ayon na nga your mom told me that you want to invest into my company right dear?" She said. Tumango naman ako. Like hell! Sino bang may ayaw at tatanggi para mag i-invest sa Alcantara Enterprise o kaya sa L&A Hotels and Resorts!
