Dear Journal,
My name is Nico di Angelo, and this is the first thing my pen has writ across your pages.
I have a new sister now. Her name is Hazel. She is only my half sister, of course, but I swear I will not let the same fate that took Bianca from me befall her.
She reminds me so much of her. I don't know what to do.
I miss Bianca so much, yet I feel as if I keep that in my head I will lose Hazel as well, and that is something I simply cannot do.
It's strange, isn't it, that every time I try to think about the present it reminds me so painfully of the past?
Never mind. You can't answer me. You're just a book, right?
