Problems. Your relationship now has a major strain. Will you stay together? Or will you break up from the stress?
Below is the problems I came up with for the scenario. If you want to change the problems that's okay, that's just there so that people don't have to come up with something if they don't want to.
(If you're an LGBTQ+ relationship, then the problem is that someone discovered your secret relationship and they're threatening to tell everyone and ruin your life. If you're a straight relationship, then the girl got pregnant. Both of these things were extremely looked down on in the 60s: having a baby out of wedlock, and being gay)
