I stood there like an empty vessel, watching him before me as his eyes were gently closed. He looked cold, breathless and exhausted. The hospital lights brightly showered upon his pale and weakened face. Mesmerized and in agony, I watched my possible one and only true love. I felt the salty tears starting to stream down my cheeks. "Why didn't you just tell me?" I cried, "Why didn't you just tell me from the beginning?" I cried even louder this time. Two familiar people came inside the ICU and rushed to where I was standing protatrying concern in their faces. The lady gently and delicately stroked and caressed my back until I was unable to produce anymore tears. "Breathe baby, breathe." The lady softly said. A man who also came in, walked over to the bed silently. His hard footsteps carefully placed beside the bed. He bent over to him and placed a wet kiss on his head. "Stay in there son," The man softly cried. "You got this, you're a fighter. It's always been in you." The woman soonly picked me up from the cold tile floor and we all exited out of the room. I brushed myself off and followed the lady into the hallway. The lady lifted my head up with her index finger. "He'll be okay Kin," the lady said. "Let's get you home."
