Chap. 48 A Mystery To Us

Naisha's POV*

We are heading back to the Academy. I pat Naguwi's shoulder, he looked at me. "Nice plan back there!" I said with a smile. "it's not me who planned it" he said making me confused. "what do you mean?" Casval butted in as Zura joined the conversation

"it was all thanks to Urara" Naguwi said. "Urara is back" I asked as I was ready to jump because of happiness. "no... She's still not here... But somehow back when we are still in the orphanage and got lost in a little forest, she brought up that same situation as we are in the Vasania border... Like she knew... That it will happen" Naguwi said

"she is really a mysterious to us" Casval said, I looked at him and saw him smile. I began to think that this dude is having a crush on my baby Urara 😕😕😕. "I wonder how's Ranusha and Gaishi at the west wing Vasania border" Zura said, making me switch my gaze to her. Ranusha and Gaishi got separated from us

"Ranusha is strong.... I believe in her" Casval said, making me want to puke just thinking about their lovey-dovey everyday. As we arrived in the academy, we are shock to see the other group is already back before us. "Mr. Anthon, how's the east wing Vasania border?" Mr. Shun approached.

We began to scattered to have a rest. Ranusha came running towards Casval and hugged him. 'ewww' I shouted in my mind. "how are you Cascas? Did they hurt you? Tell me! Amma kill them if they did" Ranusha said and pouted. 'am watching you =,=)' I said in my mind

"Naisha!" I heard Gaishi's voice, so I turned around and saw him scratching the back of his head. "Guys something weird just happened back in the west wing Vasania border" Gaishi said. we went further from Ranusha and Casval.

"as we we're in front of the border, a black smoked surrounded us. I became dizzy and seems like the other students too, only Ranusha can be able to stand up" Gaishi said. "what? Then what happened next?" Naguwi asked

"as we woke up, the dark magicians already stopped attacking, we saw Ranusha with bruises and cuts" Gaishi said. "it seems like she fought them alone" I said. "there's nothing weird about that" Naguwi said. "the question that is still in my mind is... Where did that black smoked came from?" Gaishi said

"maybe the dark magicians throwed a sleeping gas?" Zura said. "there is no sign that the dark magicians have thrown anything from the other side" Gaishi said. "are you sure? Maybe you didn't saw it?" Naguwi said. "forget it... You guys wouldn't understand" Gaishi said

"hey guys! Let's eat!" Ranush said with a smile. We walked towards them and headed to the cafeteria. "how did you fought them, Ranusha?" Gaishi began to question Ranusha. "what do you mean?" Ranusha asked, Gaishi didn't response. "pffft Gaishi is just hungry that's why he is spouting nonsense things" I said, he glared at me as I smiled at him innocently

As we arrive in the cafeteria. we ordered foods and sitted down, then we began to eat. "dark magicians' first move... What will be the next one?" Casval suddenly said. "we can't be sure and we can't lose our awareness" Naguwi said. "so... They attack the borders to warn us?" Gaishi asked. "maybe that's their motive... We can't be sure tho" Naguwi said and shrugged.

"is it just me or the dark magicians got stronger?" Zura said. We went silent. "let's just not think about it... We should rest.. We lost a lot of mana back there" Ranusha said. "yeah, let's just think of something else" Gaishi said. "how about your past lives?" Ranusha suggested

"when my 3rd birday came, I was sent in the mortal world and then got into the orphanage" Naguwi started. "wait... The same day as your 3rd birthday? How old are you?" Zura reacted. "probably older than you guys" Naguwi said. "what?" Zura questioned.

"when I was 6, Vanasha world falls into chaos because of dark magicians attacking this world" Naguwi said. "how did you know?" I asked. "just a hunch, that same day is also the day where I met Urara in the street. We approached her and asked, but she said, she have no home so our caretaker took her in" Naguwi said

"some people really like to control the world" Zura said. "yeah" I said. "let's just go back to our dorms and rest" Naguwi said and stand up. We did the same and headed back to our dorms. "Zura... What do you think is Urara doing now?" I asked. "I don't know... You really miss her huh?" Zura responded.

"why wouldn't I? She is just too easy to approach... Than someone" I said and rolled my eyes just thinking about that girl. "why don't you like her?" Zura asked as she chuckled. "I just don't like her" I said and head to my room. I pass by Urara's room.

I went inside Urara's room. It was dark inside. I roam around her room as I felt a presences. I turn back and saw a shadow. "who are you?!" I asked. He didn't reply but putted something on the floor then disappeared. I walked towards there and picked it up

I frozed.' what's the meaning of this?' I said in my mind. I switched the lights on and I looked around again. I crawl down and saw something below Urara's bed. I picked it up, it's a book. I read every page but I couldn't understand it. I saw a paper with a writings on it at the end of the pages. Saying, ' don't let them know, eyes are watching your every moves'

I head to my room and hesitating if I would tell Zyra about this or not... Because the paper warned me about something... Or someone... 'I need to hide this in a very safe place' I said to my mind. I roam around my room, thinking where should I hide this. "Naisha! Let's go and have dinner!" Zura said outside my room. "OK I'll be there in a minute!" I replied

I putted the book and the thing the shadow left above my closet, there's a secret door above my closet that no one can even suspect it. As I was done placing the things, I closed the secret door and walked away like nothing happened. " let's go... I'm kinda hungry" I said as I saw Zura sitting on the sofa
