The Sun Sets as Another Rises (a Changed story)

Chapter 1. A New Beginning

Lin started blushing a little.

Puro noticed.

"Have you gotten a fever?"Puro asked.

"Nah I'm fine."

I read in a book that you can see if someone has a fever by putting your paw on their forehead to see if it's warm. May you let me try it."

"Sure."

Puro came in closer and put his latex feeling paw on Lin's forehead.

Lin blushed harder.

"Well,I don't feel anything that would be a fever, lets continue going!"Puro exclaimed happily.

Lin started to wonder why he was blushing so hard.

But he just shook it off and followed behind Puro.

After some more walking, Lin just suddenly stopped.

"Why did human stop?"Puro thought.

"Hey human,why did you stop?"Puro asked.

"This I the house I lived in."

"What?"

"This is the house I lived in before I went to the tower."

"Then let's go inside human!"said Puro with happiness.

Puro and Lin went into the house.

The house appeared to be in good condition.

There was some dust around and some cobwebs due to the lack of care.

Lin looked at a picture on one of the tables.

Puro went to look at it and saw that it was Lin as a human with an adult male and female with a little girl.

"Is that your family human?"Puro asked.

"Yeah, it's my parents and my little sister."

"Where are they?"

"I don't know."

"Oh, ok."

Lin walked over to his food cabinet and pulled out two cans of mushroom soup.

"Hey Puro,would you like some mushroom soup?"Lin asked.

"Oh yes please!"

Lin poured the two cans of mushroom soup into separate bowls and put them into the microwave one at a time.

He was surprised that the microwave still worked.

After the bowls were done cooking,he placed them on the table in the dining room in a way that he and Puro would be sitting across from each other.

"Well, dig in."Lin said.

The two of them sat down at the table and took there bites out of their warmed up meal.

Lin was enjoying every single bite.

The feeling of the warm liquid flowing down his throat was so delicious.

After he was done, he looked across the table to see Puro crying.

"What's wrong?"Lin asked.

That was the best thing I've every ate. Thank you."

"Your welcome."

At this point,both Lin and Puro were so exhausted that they could fall asleep walking, so they went to Lin's old bedroom.

They both laid down on the mattress side by side.

Then Puro rolled over towards Lin and snuggled him.

"Lin?"

"Yes?"

"Do you know that you are the best friend I've every had?"

"Yeah,you're also the best friend that I've ever had."

"I'm glad that I got to meet you human."

"Me too."

And with that, they fell into slumber.

End of Chapter 1,

It took me all day to make this, and so far I'm very proud of it.

I would like to hear any feedback that you guys have for me so I can improve this and make the other chapters the best I can.

Also,I made a reference to a really good manga that recently got an anime adaption.
