"You're always trigger happy."
"More target practice never killed anyone."
"Yeah, for those who aren't targets. But whatever. Let's go!"
Before Donghyuck knew what was happening to him, Jeongin had pulled him up and he was walking outside the warehouse with the others. He was rather weak still, but ignored his scratchy throat and stuffy nose.
"By Jeonginnie!" Jisung waved as he and Felix were going another way.
"Bye! Be safe guys!" Jeongin happily waved good bye with Minho and Seungmin.
Donghyuck trudged along with them. His socks were still damp from before, so the feeling was really not pleasant on the soles of his feet. However, he had more things to pay attention to.
"This is warehouse yard 5," Jeongin skipped along. "It's one of the largest around in the area, so it's easy to get lost."
"Aha, I remember that one time Jisung dropped his earbuds and we spent two days straight looking for them," Minho laughed.
"Oof, that was painful," Seungmin groaned upon the memory.
"We figured out how to navigate this place," Jeongin explained. "But it's our secret, okay?"
Donghyuck nodded, looking around the monotonous place again. He didn't understand how they would be able to find their way in this place. It was just lines and lines of the same generic metal buildings. They all had the same shape and color along with large garage-type doors for cars to get in. What also didn't help was that they were probably squares as well, so the building dimensions weren't far from similar.
The weather had lightened up by now. Donghyuck wasn't sure how long he had slept in that brick building, but a decent amount of time must've passed. The cold, unforgiving rain from before had stopped. The dark sky was now an agitated gray, swirling over them. It was quiet and calm. However, it was almost as if you could feel the sky planning to unleash something anytime soon.
"Hey, are you okay?" Seungmin tapped Donghyuck, concern laced at the corner of his lips.
"Ah! Y-Yeah.." Donghyuck mumbled.
Again, Donghyuck knew he was loud, but being around strangers really didn't help him. He appeared very timid most of the time. Perhaps that's why his anger and strength was such a shock.
"Ah, and a turn here!" Minho lead the way in a carefree manner.
He turned and waltzed everywhere, as if it were a journey with street signs. The guy happily ran a hand along the warehouses as if he were a child. They all followed him, mud caking the bottom soles of shoes and an earthy smell enveloping them.
"Anndd... okay! Break time!" Minho stopped to tell them.
It felt like a very odd game of 'follow the leader', but Donghyuck was sucked dry of any good ideas. He was doing his best to comply casually, but because of that he didn't even know how far away he was from S.Coups and Mingyu anymore. But he also had a creeping fear in his heart.
What if they had caught Jaemin? What if he was hurt? How would they get out of here? There was really nothing he could do now except try to remember the way back (which was REALLY REALLY hard to do) and hope that Jaemin was okay.
"Helloooo?" Seungmin waved a hand in front of Donghyuck.
"A-Ah..!" Donghyuck said once he had come out of his thinking.
"Aha! Jeonginnie's friend is pretty funny!" Minho pointed and laughed.
Jeongin rolled his eyes at his hyung.
