Adrenaline began to circulate through my body and my heart was beating faster and faster. I decided not to run and try to convince myself that I was just being paranoid. I had already walked eight blocks with those three shadows behind me, I could feel their fixed gazes on my neck, watching every movement I made.
I began to imagine different ways of how this situation could end, none ended as I would like. I started to accelerate my step without thinking. I did everything possible to clear my mind and fix my gaze forward, but I simply couldn't. The moment I felt that chilling fabric that clearly didn't belong to me, I didn't hesitate to turn my head. I saw them there. Those shadows became figures that weren't as far away as I thought.
I force myself to stop thinking and just fix my gaze forward. In just a second my eyes were wrapped and i couldn't see anything.
Without hesitation I began to kick, scream and punch through the air. I could hear a sharp complaint that came from the figure in the middle, indicating that I had hit him. I didn't stop fighting until they gave the first order.

-"Now!". The one on the right said in a deep, heavy voice.

One of them places what felt like a rag on my nose. I felt like my heart was coming out of my mouth and I didn't stop screaming but it was like nobody listened.

It only took ten seconds. Ten seconds to understand what they did to me. Ten seconds to make an effect. Only ten seconds to melt me to the floor.
The eyelids were heavy and my legs gave up. A tear escaped from my eye at the thought of falling asleep, of being unconscious, of not knowing what they would do to me and of not being able to fight.

- "Come on, lift her carefully." A sharper voice said softly.
It was a woman.
That was the last thing I could hear, my senses went numb, like my body that stopped responding at the same time that my eyelids decided to close.
