Play Time and Quirks

————————-(Y/N) POV—————————

(Y/N) glided the imaginary bow across the air to the beautiful music dancing around in her head. Her weight shifting between feet on the cool grass creating a rocking motion her head swaying side to side. The song concluded, so did her performance. Her arms dropped back to her sides and bowed. To her surprise, she heard real applause not the quiet record in her head. (Y/N) lifted her gaze from the grass to the window and saw both her fathers serving as spectators to her show. A smile earned it's way to her face seeing the gloomy and tired man clapping as well. (Y/N) knew how sour and unimpressed her raven haired father could be, her eyes glimmered with hope and excitement. (Y/N) had a good feeling about the future, she would impress him and make both her parents as proud as they could ever be.

(Y/N) scurried to the bush and grabbed her stuffed animal. She rushed inside to her fathers, Mic engulfed her into a hug. Shouta grabbed his coffee and took a quick sip, he lowered it and watched the two. He was perplexed of why he was treating it as a real violin concert, despite this the slightest of smirks made its way across his lips and softly utter a compliment.

"I'm sure your toy-" Hizashi let (Y/N) go and immediately threw an elbow in his husband's side. "I mean- (Toy's Name) loved it," he corrected himself. (Y/N) flashed a bright smile and squeezed the toy tightly against her chest.

"He did!" She said matter-of-factly. Aizawa couldn't help but be amused by the girl's wild imagination. Without a doubt, her quirk would add to her great mind. Right . . . Quirks.

Now that they thought about it, (Y/N) was past the age where most children's quirks first manifest. Different thoughts and anxieties looped around his mind and tangled into one big knot in his brain. He decided to shake off the feeling, he put his hands into his pockets and let a tiny smile spread his lips. (Y/N) turned the stuffed animal to face her and hugged it again before running off to her room.

————————-Third Person POV——————

Shouta watched as his daughter skipped away to her bedroom like a hawk did a mouse. He sighed and turned to Hizashi who was standing next to him, his usual smile displayed across his face. He leaned a shoulder on top of Shouta's and sighed happily.

"The kiddo loves you, pencil topper," (He would call Aizawa that, change my mind) Hizashi claimed looking at his husband's black orbs through his orange sunglasses.

"I would hope so," The male scoffed. "I'm her father." Hizashi's smile dropped and crossed his arms. His cheerful face morphed into a playful pout.

"And what am I?!" The blonde demanded.

"A nuisance," Aizawa replied flatly as he walked off to the kitchen to make lunch for the three family members.

Hizashi's jaw unhinged leaving it wide enough for a horse to make it's home. He chased after his spouse complaining saying how he was just as important, and that Shouta loves him even if he was a nuisance, which he is NOT. Through this, the sour man couldn't help but give an amused smirk at his cruel joke and his husband's reaction to it.

Shouta's comedy was never the nicest if he ever made jokes at all. It was usually always trashing either Hizashi or Yagi. Yagi. . . Work. How would his co-workers and boss think of (Y/N)? What would they do if they find out about their family? Each thought that entered his mind wasn't pleasant, in the slightest. Each of the possible outcomes his brain made up were horrible. Him and Zashi getting fired. Being shunned from the public, frankly Shouta didn't mind that, however he knew how much it would hurt his husband and affect his cheerful demeanor.

He pushed the thoughts away and focused on the food he was making. He blocked out his husband's continuous bickering about his comment, he shook his head and placed the food into bowls. Aizawa nudged his husband out of the way who was still ranting. Aizawa rolled his eyes and placed the bowls on the dining table, he turned around to face Hizashi.
