How to increase your speed in solving Math problems:
The basic answer for this is through solving a lot of problems, there is no easy thing such as instant. As part of my routine, I spend 2-3 hours solving a day and try to solve 100 - 200 math problems. Experience will definitely be your weapon in recognizing patterns on a given problem. With the experience you have, you can easily break down or simplify the given math problem. Do not just be familiarized with the problems, solve each problem and see if you are stuck at some point and check what is wrong with what you are doing. You can check with other people where you made a mistake. Once the same problem is encountered in the future, the problem will become a piece of cake for you.
The only way to improve speed is recognizing patterns but this will take a lot of experience. More practice will mean a difficult problem at first glance will be a much simpler problem inside. The moment you break it into the basics, you will be able to solve it faster.
