A young man stares at the camera, his looks are pretty average with a pale face and a thin stature. He stares intently at the camera, around him is a room where a small bookshelf with a few books can be seen. The room looks a little plain. A small light can be seen coming from a table lamp which illuminates the room by a little bit.
The camera shakes a bit, indicating that he was fixing the angle. When he was satisfied enough, he smiled a little, cleared his throat then he began talking.
"Have you ever had that most depressing moment when you can't do anything?"
he paused while trying to hold back his tears, hatred can be clearly seen within his eyes
"That moment where you just want to end everything in an instant?"
his voice trailed off
"Some of you might have, and some are just too engulfed with their own happiness seldomly noticing their friends that are slowly being devoured by their demons inside."
with that said, he gave off a smile that isn't a smile. He smiled weakly at the camera, disappointment now visible in his face while the edges of his lips twitching trying to force a smile
"Be sensitive. Be observant. They will never show you how much they're hurting. They have such a fancy mask and are masters in pretending, they will never leak a hint of them being devastated within. Most of them smile a lot, some remain quiet."
he leans a little bit forward to the camera, emphasizing every word as if he was speaking in riddles,
"Slow down your pace a bit. They might be your friends, relatives, or someone you hold dear. Take your time and ask them a simple question, ask them how they're doing, or if they have had a good day."
as he speaks, a small drop of tear escapes his eyes. With tears flowing down and the sadness written all over his face, his voice begins to crack that makes speaking hard for him.
Clearing his throat, he continued,
"We will never know..."
he said while wiping the tears off of his face, his hair now in a messy state,
"Maybe one day, it's too late..."
he looks down to his desk, sniffing
"Stay in touch with them..."
he then refocused his gaze to the camera with a devastated expression, he then smiled weakly as he said,
"Good bye."
With that, he gave a sad smile to the camera.
Standing up, he grabbed the chair where he sat and stepped onto it. The room was deadly silent, the only thing that could be heard was the sound of air coming from the ceiling fan and nothing more.
With slow movements, he then reached into something above him, and held into it for a few seconds.
Silence fills the air with the winds blowing occasionally from the outside.
After a few moments he finally steeled his mind, with a blank expression, he hung himself to the rope connected to the ceiling fan.
His body shakes uncontrollably as his body stopped receiving air, now suffocating.
A few moments later, his hands fell to the side of his body as he stopped his struggles now leaving his body slowly rotating with the ceiling fan.
A few seconds later, someone heard a noise as if something heavy is being suspended and panickly came knocking at the door.
"Jace? JACE! Open this door! Come on man!"
he kept on pounding the door while shouting
Receiving no response, he forcefully broke the door open.
What came to his sight was his bestfriend hanging lifelessly, slowly rotating with the ceiling fan.
"NO. JACE! SHIT! WHYY?! NOOO!"
his voice filled with frustration and agony
He can't stop cursing over and over having no idea of what to do.
"SHIT SHIT SHIT!"
He unconsciously gripped his hair and started to freak out.
Then his face started to show an expression as if remembering something.
He then reached to his pant's pocket grabbing his phone.
With a panicked expression he then started dialing while staring at his friend's body, he then started to show sadness within him.
Then the video recording ended.
