Chapter 01 | Ladybug on a Sleepover

"Pound it." Ladybug and Cat Noir connect their fists as they've solve yet another case of purifying the akumatized victims, preventing Hawkmoth to wreck havoc in the city and not let him get their miraculouses- the usual busy life of superheroes protecting the city from danger.

It was already very past midnight when they've finished their tasks.

From the case earlier, Ladybug was three times tired than Cat Noir, she did most of the work since Cat Noir only appeared half way of the fight.

Seeing Ladybug blinking her eyes and covering her yawn, Cat Noir felt a pang of guilt for letting his lady to be tired this much. He should've been in the fight earlier than his lady but his dad locked him up in the room to play the piano till perfection, and Nathalie was watching him so he won't escape his piano lesson. It took him a while to comply the standards that was given to be considered as perfect for his father. He was angry of his helplessness and was upset of his dad. Next time, he'll definitely save his lady from too much work.

"Chat? Why are you just standing there? It's already 3 am; shouldn't you go home and sleep?" Ladybug woke Cat Noir to reality from his thoughts as he looked back at his bugaboo acting cool despite being so tired. He smiled and rested his chin on his baton.

"Is m'lady worried about this gentleman? You should be more concern to yourself before minding others."

A yawn came out from Ladybug again before she replied, "I was just reminding you, you silly kitty." She massaged her left shoulder as she added, "I'll be going first then." She blinked her eyes and slapped both of her cheeks then bid him farewell, "Good night, Chaton."

"Good night, m'lady. Have a good rest." He stared at her like a fool. In a distance, she jumped on the buildings and threw her yo-yo to support her going upwards on high structures. She's so brave, cool, and smart, He really wonder who's behind that black-dotted red mask. She must be an absolute amazing girl in the reality he can't point out. He really wanted to know her real identity however, he respects her decisions and privacy. He doesn't want to destroy their relationship for being stubborn and forceful hence, he'll just go along with her even if she had rejected him an nth time. He doesn't care if she had someone she likes. They're not together yet so that indicates he still have a chance. He won't give up his feelings to the first girl who amazes him to this extent; who stole his heart from her kind yet brave personality.

Cat Noir was still watching Ladybug from afar when he saw her being tipsy atop of a building. Without wasting a moment, he immediately went where Ladybug was. She was about to fall and dozing to sleep!

"Ladybug!" Cat Noir yelled her name to startle her up from her stupor but it wasn't effective because she's already falling. She can't hear him; she's too tired to think of anything but sleep.

Fortunately, Cat Noir rushed up to her and catches her from falling further towards the rough cemented road or else, the impact from falling would seriously be bloody.

Cat Noir grunted as he carried the sleeping Ladybug in his arms. He then extended his baton vertically to land on the roof of the buildings. Once his foot stepped on the roof, he put his baton on his back and caressed Ladybug's face gently.

"That was dangerous, m'lady. You almost killed me from worry." Cat Noir sighed in distress, thinking back of what happened earlier. He immediately shook his head afterwards and stared back at Ladybug's sleeping face. "I guess my place is the only option where you can rest. I don't know where you live so forgive me when you wake up in the morning."

Cat Noir jumped from building to building heading towards his home. He silently sneaked in without alerting the security as he went inside his room by the open rectangle glass of a window. He then foot towards his room and carefully placed Ladybug on his bed.
