//Cheers and loud screams from the on-looking crowd rung in my ears, almost deafeningly. I was tasked to train the new recruits today. I let out a sigh and swiftly ducked under the arm of a recruit. Returning the favor and punching him in the stomach. He stumbled back and doubled over, gasping for air. I suddenly heard the soft rustling of fabric behind me and turned around, noticing another recruit throwing himself at me. I ducked in time sending him flying over my head, the stunned expression on his face made a small chuckle slipped from my lips. "Focus on your target!", I barked at them.
//This continued for a few moments before all seven of the new recruits laid in a pile before me, groaning in pain. The crowd of soldiers around me cheered and applauded, expressing their amazement. I simply loved the attention they gave me. I turned to the crowd and barked at them, "If you want to survive in The Silhouette Regiment, you have to be the best you can be! //Just as the recruit got to his feet, the speakers fired up with a squeal and blared all around the base, announcing, "Ms Grey, to the leaders office now!" I sighed and turned to the recruit who stiffened, "Please do help the others onto their feet and get enough rest to recover faster." He gave a shaky salute and immediately scrambled to help the others. 'Poor guy must be scared of me', I thought to myself as I walked into base. I avoided groups of soldiers and recruits who were eagerly chattering about my performance. I often hear things such as "How did she get that good...", "Dude, don't even try to spar with her...she'd kick your butt in 5 minutes!", "Wonder if she's seeing anyone right now" and rarely hateful comments such as "I bet I could take her down" or "she's nothing compared to me". I merely ignore them all.
//Honestly commenting is just a waste of time, just dogs with all bark and no bite if you ask me. They should learn to watch silently and take in something new. After a couple of turns and stares from other soldiers, I arrived at the leaders office or as I call him...Dad...
