Chapter 10

"Yeah he's dead."

"Good now this might sting." as she pours alcohol on it.

"Fuck women sting my ass!" I say jerking back.

"Oh quit being a baby." she laughs. I grunt in response. And let her continue. "Yeah it's going to need at least 4 stitches. You want me to numb it up."

"Nah just get it over with."

"Alright. Macy hold this while I get my stuff." Macy nods taking the rag on my face. Harper leaves running upstairs to get her kit.

"I'm sorry." Macy says. I just nod still pissed. "I shouldn't of accused you."

"You don't trust me Mace."

"I do. I really do. It's her I don't trust." I nod.

"It's alright. I'm not sleeping with her."

"I know." she says sighing heavily.

"I love you." I tell her then lean over kissing her.

"Sorry guys but I got a face to fix." Harper laughs coming back in.

We break the kiss and Harper gets to work.

"Alright you should heal by tomorrow look for me then and I'll take out the stitches." she says once she's done putting a bandage on my face.

"Will do."

"How bad is it?" dad ask coming into the kitchen.

"Not to bad 4 stitches should be healed by tomorrow." Harper answers. Dad nods.

"Get it cleaned up?" I ask.

"Yeah burning the wolf now." dad answers.

"Do you have any idea who is sending them?" I ask.

"No but there not very smart. Everyone they've sent has been killed." I nod. "I'm calling a meeting." dad says. I nod again. "An hour." I nod once again.

"Where's Tabby?" I ask Macy.

"I'm not sure." she answers.

"When I left the daycare she was in there." Harper says.

"Can you go check I don't want her outside?" I ask Macy. She nods gives me a kiss then leaves.

"Hungry?" Harper ask.

"Yeah I am actually."

"What do you want?"

"I'll just make me a sandwich."

"Sit I'll make it." I just nod not wanting to argue.

"Daddy momma said you wanted to see me." Tabby says coming into the kitchen. I nod lifting her up putting her on the table.

"Yeah I don't want you going near the woods unless you have an adult with you. Okay?" she has a habit of going into the woods by herself. She doesn't go far.

"Why?"

"Bad wolves are trying to hurt us."

"Okay daddy."

"Stay in the backyard."

"Okay." she sighs heavily. Harper puts the sandwich in front of me as Macy comes in. Macy rolls her eyes.

"You guys want one?" Harper ask.

"No thanks." Macy says.

"Please." Tabby says. Harper nods and ask her what she wants on it. Macy fumes. Why I don't know. I pull her onto my lap kissing her neck.

"Love you." I tell her loud enough so Harper can hear. Maybe if I say it in front of Harper, Macy will stop this jealousy crap.

"Love you too."

"Love you daddy." Tabby chirps.

"Love you too pumpkin."

"What about me? Don't you love me?" Macy pouts.

"Maybe?" Tabby shrugs. I snicker." Ask me tomorrow."

"Why you little." Macy says tickling her.

"Okay okay I love you too." Tabby laughs out.

"Thought so." an hour later we are sitting in the living room waiting for the meeting to start.

Not everyone from the pack are here. They will be informed later.

"Alright everyone settle down." dad says using her alpha voice. Everyone immediately shuts up. "Alright I called this meeting to let everyone know there was another attack. They are getting closer. I don't want anyone to go out in the woods alone. No more late night runs or runs period unless there are two or more. No running alone. Understood?"

"Yes alpha." they all choir.
