6: Realizations

Preston: Sure.

With a beep, the drawer was open with the shiny crystal shining in all it's glory.

Come to mama.

I held the crystal like it was a football on the way to an empty, uncharged portal. It was in a separate room so I could shut the door & whisper to Bill.

Me: Ok, Bill, this is 1 of those go anywhere u want portals where u can type where u want to go. How do I put this crystal inside to charge it up?

Well, 1st you have to cut up the crystal, just a 2 inch piece of it will do. Have you got a sertune diamond bladed cutter around?

Me: As a matter a fact, I do. Ah ha!

It was on the table next to me. It was a metal cutting mechanism but with a sertune diamond blade that can cut nearly any ore easily. Carefully, I put the Quabondexite on the cutting table & pushed the red button to start up the spinning blade. Pushing the ore to the blade where I want it cut ever so slowly, ever so carefully, it was cutting it like a piece of paper. When it was done, I pressed the button for the blade to stop spinning, & I grabbed the cut piece of the ore.

Me: Ok, I've got it cut. Now what?

Behind the keypad of your portal has gotta be a little compartment inside, right?

Turning back to the empty portal, I opened the keypad & there was a little space inside.

Me: Yep.

Ok, now just put it inside & let it turn into powder. When it does, you can close the keypad.

Me: Ok, then

A strong ore turning into powder? How could that-?

Me: Whoa!

It WAS turning into a fine powder in a matter of seconds. Quickly, I closed the keypad while the portal was activating.

Me: It's working!

Awesome! Could I choose the dimension, just for testing?

Me: Sure, go ahead.

With a snap of his fingers echoing in my head, I was feeling a little droopy. In seconds, I went from droopy, to sleepy to...blacked out.

(A matter of time, I'm assuming seconds later...)

Ok, Blue, wake uuppp! It's time for the teeeesst!

He sure was in a happy mood as usual. Quickly waking up, surprisingly, I stood up to the activated portal. I saw the keypad's screen saying: Dimension name activated. I had no idea what dimension we're testing out but Bill obviously does, I was actually kinda nervous.

Ready, Blue?

Me: Ready, Bill.

Happily, I stepped into the dark spacey vortex of the portal. With a flash of light, I arrived...
In space.

I. Love. Space! It was beautiful as always but...it seemed we were in the darker part of space. It seemed eerie...spooky....& I hate to admit it but...chilling....&.....terrifying!

Me: Bill? Where r we?

Here comes the rest of my friends!

Darkness was creeping around me, the furthest of stars weren't visible anymore...then none anymore. Then eyes...those eyes. They were the same eyes I saw in that vision! The figure with the eyes seemed to be growling at me. I couldn't tell if it was from anger or hunger. Either way, I was frightened so I slowly backed up from the figure trying to look calm. Suddenly behind me I saw a different pair of eyes glaring at me. Then to my left was 1 excited pink eye, to my right was a bunch of sadistic-looking green eyes. Everywhere I looked there was eyes, glaring, sneering, observing me.

Me: Uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-h-h...Bill? What...is this!?

I was starting to lose my voice. Those creatures were definitely demons. He's friends with demons!?

Oh HECK NO!

Fricking scared as heck, I ran for my life from the dark demons & never looked back. I kept looking & darting glances all over the place just to find the vortex back home. Also, I swore I heard Bill cackling his...triangular butt off

Does he have a butt? IDK! DOESN'T MATTER!

At least the demons were out of my sight. It was quiet for a while, then warping sounds took place. Opening & closing, opening & closing, opening & closing....u basically get the idea.

It's the vortex! The vortex back home! Yes! But why is it opening & closing?

You better hurry up, Blue or the vortex will close for good.

He was right. Speedily, I zoomed into the opening vortex &.....

It worked! YES! & luckily, I also landed on my feet, quick like a cat. I was still frozen with shock as I sat on the floor trying to understand what the frick just happened.

Me: Uhhhhh Bill? Was that the place u wanted to go?

Yep! & it worked! So it's effective, you're welcome!

I still remained nervous.
Maybe THAT'S why Preston doesn't trust him. He's friends with demons!
