"Jaeeun I'm so sorry but I have to go home" I say quickly and she just looks at me
"I can tell somethings happened, i understand, text me though okay?" She says to me sadly
"I promise next time this wont happen" I say to her as I hug her and she just says nothing as I run off into the direction of my street
My pace slightly slows as I reach my porch and take my keys out of my bag, but before I can unlock the door I hear a small 'psst'
And as I look up I see a teary eyes jisung
My heart hurts at the sight of my brother looking so pained as he whispers out to me
"Climb up through the window, she might hurt you if you go through the front" he says quickly and I nod
Making my way up the tree next to the windows
As I get to the window jisung quickly let's me in and then moves back to sit on his bed
"Was she drinking again?" I ask softly as I go to sit next to him and all he does is nod
"Are you okay" I ask again and he shakes his head
"What did she do" i ask him and he takes a quivering breath
"She scratched me and hit me" he says as his eyes tear up
"Oh jisung" I say softly as I pull him into a hug and all he does is just cry
"Where did she scratch you" I ask him as I rub his back
He just slowly lifts his hoodie sleeve and shows the scratches on his arm
"I was wearing a short sleeve and she tried to stop me from coming upstairs by grabbing at my arms" he says
"Wheres.. dad?" I ask him and he just looks at me
"Hes out somewhere" jisung replies blankly
"When you were gone, I stayed with chenle... but mum would call chenle mum and yell for me to come home.. and they were so confused.. so I told them" jisung admits to me
"You told someone what happens at home?" I ask
"I'm sorry.. I just-"
"I know.. I understand, just as long as you wernt getting hurt" I say to him and hug him again
"I'm tired of this Hyesungie" he says and sniffles into my hold
"I know.. I am too ji" I say hugging him tighter
