"Lily, I-" he cut off unsure of what he was going to say, "you are just going to need to give me time. It's hard loosing someone you know."

"I know," She said solemnly. Lily knew more about loosing people, then most did. A year ago, Lily had come home from school to find her family dead. Just like that her world changed. She suddenly was barraged with monsters waiting to attack her. She remembered the year when she ran away from home. It was the scariest time of her life. Through that experience she was able to relate to all her companions were feeling.

Lily remembered after it had happened, Annabeth mumbling something about it it being their first failure. It was true, the whole mission was to save Calypso. But she died. She thought that was hurting them too. Especially since it was a life in their hands.

They walked up the hill and Lily could see the Big House, it was all dark except for one room.

"Good Chrion is up," Percy said to no one in particular. They took the few steps onto the porch and Percy ushered her inside. The living room was dark so Percy flipped on the lights. This revealed a living area of unusual everything. "Looks like Mr. D redecorated," Percy said. In the room was a fire place of different assortments of rock. Above that fire place was a huge leopard head on the mantel. It's eyes were closed and made a purring noise. She had to do a double take. It was a live leopard head. The rest of the room was a miss match of furniture. There was a blue washed out sofa across from two lavender colored arm chairs that had grape patterned pillows. She would have had more time to look at the carpet wall paper had a older Professor looking man in a wheel chair hadn't rolled into the room.

"Perseus Jackson, where in the Hades have you been?" The man said only seen Percy. Then he looked down and saw Lily. His eyes were keen and intelligent. His eyes looked to Percy and back to Lily. Understanding and horror passed over his face. "No," he breathed and he continued looking between us, "it can't be."

"Chrion, this is my little sister, Lily," Percy said. Chrion turned to look at her and took in every detail about her. He shook his head.

"What did you do?" Chrion asked.

"We were on a mission, a secret mission," Percy added. "We went to rescue Calypso." Chrion put a hand to his face as if to shield himself from the news. "We rescued her, but the gods-" he choked.

"They took her immortality," Lily finished. Chrion let out a sigh of sadness.

"Oh that poor girl," he mumbled. There was a moment of silence proceeding this, before Chrion looked back at them. "She was kind to everyone. . ." Percy hung his head in shame, as if he could have saved her from turning to dust. She could have sworn she had seen a year had escaped his eye. Lily watched as the tear made it's way down his old face and drop to the floor. She had watched too many tears through the past day or so. She wished that death wasn't her constant companion.

Chrion sucked in a breath bringing them back to the matter at hand. He wiped his eyes quickly and recomposed himself.

"Well, when did Lily join you?" He asked but was still clearly shaken, he must have known her personally. Percy had told her that Chrion was really old and had trained almost all the Heroes. Hercules, Jason, Odysseus, and all of the latter.

"We ran into her on the way, and she joined us, we couldn't have gone as far as we had without her." Percy shared a loving look at her. It was a look that she had missed for so long. Her heart twisted as she remembered her little brother who had died a little over a year ago. He had looked up at her with those looks. She smiled back to him.

"Well it looks like we have adopted another power house into the camp," Chrion commented.

"A power house?" Lily asked.
