When I was younger
I had bigger dreams
Now as I grow older
My dreams are beginning to shrink.
Younger me wanted to change the world
Make it a better place for others
Now I only want to change my situation
And make it tolerable
When I was younger
I believed in power of art
Now I only listen to music
To block the noise out
When I was younger
The world seemed so beautiful and big
Now my world is made of
Just materialistic things
Then I dreamed of being a superhero
Now I just want to retain my humanity
Then I wanted to ride the wind abound
Now I plant my feet firmly to the ground.
