"Thank you daddy! Ms.Alexis is the best she helped me pick out a dress, she did my makeup, and my hair" she turned showing me a very fancy braided bun updo

"That is quite nice" I agreed "come on ladies why don't we head back the the table?"

"You don't wanna mingle?" Alexis gestured around us

"No not really" I frowned

"Awww darling be social" she pouted "you know it's expected of you"

"But princess I'd really enjoy to sit and just look at you" she giggled and flipped her hair back off her shoulder

"Well I can't blame you" she winked "okay fine we'll sit" I grabbed her hand and Alexis grabbed Angels I led us back to my table only to see some of the seats had been taken

One being a guy that Bonica cheated on me with I sit down having one of my girls on each side so I was comfortably in the middle I sipped from my glass hoping the man wouldn't be stupid enough to spark a conversation with me

He did turn around and look at us but it wasn't me he wanted to talk to "You look amazing miss" he grinned Alexis looked up from her phone

She smiled "oh thank you"

"What's your name?" He asked turning his whole body to face the table

"Alexis, yours?"

"Damien" he glanced at me "what are you accepting?"

She laughed "food if they have any" she looked at me with glittering endearing eyes and put a hand on my chest "my boyfriend is the most Successful man" she cooed her eyes lingered for a minute longer before she looked back at him "and you?"

He rolled his jaw "most growth"

"Hard to grow when you're already number one" I shrugged smirking

He ignored my snide comment and looked toward Angel "and you are?"

Angel crossed her arms "You were married to my mom!"

He tilted his head "yes I thought you looked familiar" he shrugged "how is she?"

"Married... again"

I turned my eyebrow furrowed in confusion "what? When? I thought she was still with the high school boy"

"No when I came home the other day some guy was on the sofa he won money in Las Vegas and she married him there" Angel sighed deeply sounding annoyed

I rolled my eyes "fuckin tart" I mumbled to myself careful Angel didn't hear Alexis giggled lightly

"Yes well I think this table is actually rather distasteful I'll move somewhere else" he stood I chuckled

"Maybe you aren't as dumb as I thought" the table quickly became full again because the show was starting a formal greeting, a long story about the history of the award show, then an even longer story about the lady hosting

I glanced at Alexis she was doing something on her phone smiling ear to ear dimple caved and blushing "darling what are you doing?"

"A little girl I babysit regularly started walking I'm so proud of her, look her mother sent me a video" she leaned over showing me a video of a little baby waddling it was a baby I have seen her with before

I bit my lip she was so excited "Alexis that's not your baby"

She gasped and put her phone against her chest "don't be mean!"

I shook my head "I'm only saying you shouldn't be so attached"

She pouted losing her blush and smile "I'm sorry I have baby fever and I love kids"

I frowned "aww Baby girl I'm sorry look I have a Baby for you" I leaned back pointing to Angel

She bit her lip trying not to smile "it's not the same"

"MR.HARRY EDWARD STYLES" clapping started I jumped and looked around Alexis shoved my arm and clapped

"Go go go"

I chuckled I hadn't paid attention at all to what was going on I got up fixing my tux and walked on the stage the award was handed to me by the lady I didn't get the name of I waved to the crowd "thank you!" I put a hand on my heart "thank you so much I worked hard to get here" I laughed I wanted to make a joke about being British and winning this but Alexis said it would have been in poor taste

I saw Alexis blowing me kisses and making hearts I shook my head "I wanna thank my special ladies my daughter and my girlfriend"

My jaw dropped when Bonica stood up "Thank you Baby!!" She screamed and people started clapping cooing taking pictures

I frowned deeply and backed up from the mic I nodded to the hostess and walked off the stage she was walking toward me I put my award down on my table she reached me and went to kiss me I grabbed her upper arms holding her to the ground "let's talk" I growled I turned letting one of her arms go and dragged her off

I stepped down a hallway and shoved her against the wall "How dare you embarrass me like that!" I hissed

"You thanked me" she smiled

"I thanked my girlfriend, Alexis! Not fucking you you're MARRIED AGAIN"

"Ooh I divorced him yesterday" she waved her hand "he had kids, you know I hate kids"

I laughed "yeah I know" I licked my lips and rubbed my eyes "how did you even get in here?"

"I slept with the host's husband" she shrugged

I shook my head and backed up from her "don't you ever EVER associate yourself with me again pull another stunt like that and I'll sue you for slander" I turned away she mumbled something under her breath but it wasn't worth it

I walked back to my table and sat back down Alexis was just as mad as me she was tapping her nails on the table and glaring dead ahead of her

"I can't believe she has the audacity" Alexis whispered

"She's an attention whore darling I'm sorry"

"Mom said she wants me to come home tonight" Angel showed me the message

"Well we don't always get what we want do we sweetie?"
