Blue woke up in his room. He was very confused. Did I dream it all? he questioned himself. He did not think he did, so he decided to ask Stretch about it.

Quickly getting dressed, Blue went to his brother's room. He surprisingly found the door open and the room empty. He teleported down the stairs and found Stretch sleeping on the couch.

Suddenly, Stretch jerked awake, twisting and falling face first on the floor. Blue tried to suppress a chuckle. Stretch groggily gave Blue a look.

Blue quickly lost the expression, replacing it with concern. "Papy, are you okay?"

"Sans, what are you doing?" Stretch countered groggily. "You don't normally do this."

"I actually need to ask you something," Blue said, shuffling his feet against one another.

"Shoot, bro," Stretch said.

"Umm," Blue stuttered, trying to put the question into a sentence. Stretch raised his brow. "I remember standing near the end of Snowdin with you and a human before waking up here. I'm not sure if it's a dream or not, and I was wondering if you knew anything about it."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Stretch forgot his sleepiness. How can Sans remember? he thought. He considered Swift having something to do with this, but highly doubted it.
"Papy? Are you okay?"
"Yeah, bro."
"No, you're not!" Blue yelled. Stretch had never seen such a burst of anger from Blue before. "Papy, I know you keep things from me. I just don't know why. I think it's probably because you're trying to protect me, but leaving me in the dark is not the right way to do it! It's...frustrating. Don't you trust me?"
Stretch was surprised. He had never thought of it like that. "I guess I can't keep it from you, now that you remember." Blue gave Stretch an inquisitive look. "We can remember things called timelines created by the kid's Resets, just like you saw a bit ago." Stretch continued to explain the Resets and timelines to Blue. He figured that if he did it now, he did not have to do it later.
Blue was taking it surprisingly well. "Papy! We need to get to our sentry stations!" Blue exclaimed, making for the front door.
Stretch sighed. Old habits die hard he thought as he reluctantly followed.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

It's been around three months since Blue first met Error. Blue had been meeting with Error for a while; catching up, asking questions, having a good time, enjoying each other's company. They increasingly looked forward to seeing each other. It would have continued if Stretch had not have found out. He forbid Blue from leaving their AU for any reason and told Error that he was not welcome there. It was until last week that Ink convinced him to lift the ban. Ink told him that he and Dream would keep an eye on him if he leaves Underswap. Stretch noticed that Blue was getting antsy, so he obliged. Blue took the opportunity to visit Outertale.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Blue teleported to Outertale. He was excited to see the stars again. He also secretly hoped to see Error. It's been so long Blue thought. Blue unconsciously walked over to the same spot that he and Error watched the stars at for the first time. It seemed so long ago to him. Blue sighed. If only it could be the same as it was.
Blue began to miss his friend more than he already had been. He figured this was somewhat worse than being stuck in Underswap. Instead of having to stay under constant supervision and pretend like everything was fine, he could go anywhere under constant supervision and have to pretend everything was fine. It made him feel trapped, even though he was free.
