Chapter 19

“Faith wake up.”

“Five more minutes.” I grunted.

“You’re going to be late, we have check if our little baby is okay or not.”

I got up and looked at Jai. I know our baby is going to be fine.  We got ready and made our way to the hospital and the doctor called us in. I pulled my shirt up to show my big massive belly, and smiled at Jai in happiness and in nervousness.  He sat beside me and held my hand, making sure I was okay. The doctor checked did the ultrasound on my belly.

“The baby seems healthy, good heart beat, everything’s seems good.” She smiled.

Jai got up and kissed my forehead.

“Did you hear that baby, our little baby is healthy.”

I couldn’t help but shed a tear because that moment was too precious.

“You two are really in love; a lot of teenage pregnancies don’t end up like how yours is.” The doctor smiled.

Jai and I looked at each other and smiled happily knowing that everything’s going to be alright.

“Faith, can I talk to you?”  Cia told me as she entered my room.

“Yea, of course, is everything okay?” She seemed nervous.

“You know Luke and I really love each other right, even though we’ve only known each other for a few weeks it feel likes forever.”

“Yeah I know, it’s really cute.” I chuckled.

“..and we are going to be going in few weeks back to Canada because schools starting, remember?”

Oh shoot! I totally forgot that school is starting so soon, I didn’t even tell Jai yet.

“Ugh, why bring school up? Are you okay?”

“Yeah, Luke and I talked and he wants me to go to tour with him, and I want to go.”

My eyes widened and I hugged Cia.

“Aw, don’t worry Cia I’m happy for you, I can go to school for couple of months without you being there, even though I will miss you like crazy I’ll still call you and skype. If you’re happy I am too.”

“Thank you Faith, I can’t wait to tell Luke, but I’ll be back when the baby is going to be coming. After all I am going to be his or her little aunty.” She laughed.

“More like godmother.” 

“What?! Really, you want me to be the godmother of your baby?” She had happy tears in her eyes.

I nodded and we hugged and talked for a few more minutes. Now it was time to go talk to Jai about school. Wish me goodluck.

“Jai, can we talk?” I entered his room.

“Is everything okay, baby?” He helped me sit.

“Yeah, I just want to remind you that I’m going to be going back to Canada in a few weeks because schools going to start.”

There was a silence for a few minutes.

“Jai?”

“Huh? Oh sorry, I was thinking about the baby, and you going away from me. What about us, or the baby, you have to take care of yourself Faith.”

“I will, the baby will be healthy and safe and I’ll be gone for like few months and be back few weeks before the baby is going to be here. We will always call each other, and you guys are going to go to tour soon and when you come to Canada I will meet you guys, I promise. Also when I have my vacations I’ll come over.”

“It’s not the same, I can’t handle a day without you, how am I supposed to handle few months. I want to be there for you and take care of you. Why can’t you go to school next year, please I need you.” He held my hand.

“I’m sorry Jai the sooner I finish school I can be with you for how long ,I want to be with you, and the baby. I just need you to understand that I want to go back to school even though it’s not fun I want to be a nurse, I want a future.”

“You can have a future with me, and the boys and Cia will be here. The baby is going to come out in a few months and I 100% want to be there with you and not miss my chances, what if you get sick or hurt, what will happen then?”

“I want to really badly, but I miss my mom and brother and I had this dream for a while now and I don’t want to just forget about it. Please understand I love you , and I’ll be okay and the baby is healthy. I’ll call you if anything happens, don’t worry.”

I cupped his face and kissed him on his forehead.

“I’m going to be fine.”

I put my arms around his neck and kissed him gently on the lips and he kissed me back putting his arms around my waist and rubbing my back. He put his tongue in my mouth and ended up making out and then got disturbed.

“LOCK THE DOOR NEXT TIME, MY EYES!” Daniel faked being blind.

Jai and I burst out of laughter.

Its been 10 weeks of me being pregnant, it felt weird but it was just amazing having Jai with me. The boys decided to start their tour when I leave to school because they wanted to spend a lot of time with me before I leave, because I won’t be seeing them for a couple months which is really sad. I really don’t want to leave him but I just had to finish school and finish what I started.  

The guys always make fun of the way I sit on the couch because it takes me forever because it’s so hard with a big stomach and try to sit down gently.  I was sitting in my room and decided to just sit down and chill and talk to my mom and brother to let them know how I was doing. After an hour or so I said my goodbyes to my mom and brother and went back on my laptop.

“Hey baby.” Jai entered.

“Hey.” I smiled at him

“I was talking to the baby, but hey Faith.”

I took the pillow and hit him across the face.

“Ow!” I yelled.

“WHAT HAPPENED ARE YOU OKAY?!” Jai got scared.

“Babe, I’m okay I think the baby just kicked me.” I giggled.

“What really!” he smiled.

I grabbed his arm and placed it on my stomach.

“Oh my god our baby is sure going to be a good soccer player, I bet it’s a little baby girl.”

“Really, I think it’s a cute little boy just like its father.”

“No, it’s a girl I know my baby reading.”

“Baby reading? Dafuq Jai?” I started laughing and he ended up laughing to.

“What would you name her if it’s a girl?” I asked him

“Allison Martin Brooks.” He smiled.

“It’s perfect.”

“What if it’s a little Jai junior?” He asked me.

“Kyle Martin Brooks.” I smiled.

“I love it.”

“I love you.” I kissed him.
