Harmony, Dylan, Tess, Mindy, Ashton, Luke, and Xavier are all Broadway dreamers.

Some have already reached their dreams.

Others have only dreamed about it. One way or the other Broadway is their dream. Read through the lives of these seven individual dreamers as their lives intertwine with one another.

Harmony, Dylan, Tess, and Mindy all get called back for the same lead female role.

Ashton, Luke, and Xavier all get called back for the same lead male role.

It's a battle for the lead.

Sing, dance, act, lie, and sleaze your way to the top. Broken hearts to broken bones nothing will stop them from getting to their dream.

Drugs, sex, lies, love, heartbreak, broken bones, and broken dreams.

All in a days work of a Broadway Dreamer.

Harmony's POV

"Alright get back into costume!" My director screams as all of us dancers run back to the dressing room in fear of Mr. Dayle, our terrifying director.

He would never hurt me though.

He wouldn't hurt the girl who gives him his, 'rush.'

No not sex.

Cocaine. Pure and simple. Don't you dare try to judge me! When you grow up around the crack heads, drunks, pimps, and whores, you become one. Though I'm not a pimp or whore, I do enjoy the thrill of a needle in my vein, shooting heroin through my bloodstream that wakes my brain up.

My name is Harmony Miller.

I have a bouncy blonde hair, electric blue eyes, I'm a bit under weight.

Stupid drugs.

I'm nineteen, 5' 6'', and I'm a Broadway star. Okay, more like a dreamer. I'm in the chorus for Legally Blonde the Musical. I'm in the Greek chorus. I'm not one of the main girls even! I'm in the chorus to the chorus.

At this point it's pathetic for me to even try to get a lead.

I guess I will always just be a Broadway dreamer.

"DYLAN! Go and clean up table twelve!" Margret yells from the back of the kitchen. Margret is a real sweet old woman, she's in her late fifties and has been working here at Peter Pan's Diner, in Babylon, New York, since she was about fifteen.
