"Come on!" She squealed leading her sister towards there play room.
She made pink look so pretty.
Her smile was always there
Always racing to beat her cheeks to her eyebrows.
And it would always win.
Her sparkly dresses covered the floor like carpet. And her makeup spilled staining the carpet with joy.

"Daddy!" She squealed brightly grinning her grin.
Her dad smiled softly holding back any tears that threaten to spill from his watery eyes.

She was too young to understand that today. Her fathers birthday.
Just her being there.
That would the best gift he would ever get.

"Mommy my body has a monster in it" She whispered as she layed down on the sleek white bed.

"Will you help me fight it daddy?" She asked smiling widely.

"Just like in a movie" she laughed.

She held onto his hand.

"put up your fists ruby, keep on smiling. When you go into surgery You blow them a kiss. Cause your nothing but brave ruby" her dad said.

"We're gonna chase down this monster" he said tickling her allowing her laughs to hide his sobs.

Her mum chokes on her tears smiling at rubies concerned glance.

"Just for you" her mother smiled enveloping her in a hug.

Singing along with the music until she got home.

"Don't give up, your the strongest little girl we know" her dad replied while her mum buried her tear stained face in his shoulder.

"We can chase down this monster" she smiled as her bed was pulled into the operating room.
