KC's POV
"The big turn of my life started that day. Wala na akong gana ibahagi iyon ngayon. Maybe next time, " I clearly said to the class that made them sigh with frustrations.
Its been over 8 years but the memories still lingers within me. Hindi ko ata malubayan kahit kailan. Even with all the works I try to do, it just doesn't seem to fade.
"Teacher KC," narinig kong tawag nang isang kapwa guro ko. " Oh, Ma'am Thea, ano po iyon? ", minsan lang siyang kumausap sa akin kaya laking gulat ko nang tumawag siya.
"Someones looking for you", that simple statement made my heart skip a beat. Those four words, I heard them before. I just hope it comes from a different person this time. Please Lord, sana po ibang tao. Kahit yung kapitbahay ko na palaging pinapakialaman ang buhay ko na halos pati kulay ng sinusuot kung undies alam na. Ano naman ang gagawin niya dito sa paaralan? Eh lahat ng anak niya ay hindi naman nag aaral? Ah basta malay ko ba kung bakit. Kahit yun na lang Papa Lord. O baka yung tax collector po. Teka meron pa
ba non? Ayh basta.
"Good afternoon K", bati sa akin ni Teacher Selyn, ang nag-iisang bestfriend ko na nakilala ko lang dahil sa propesyon ko. "Good Afternoon din S, may naghahanap daw sa akin?", I deliberately asked her. She pointed to the guest room that we have in the faculty through her lips and wiggled here eyebrows with matching kembot to the left and right. Kahit kailan talaga itong babae na ito. 😂😂
As I entered through the door, I felt the tingling sensation that I last felt when I was a teenager. It sent goosebumps to every part of my body. I just hate feeling this way. When I raised my eyes, nakita ko ang matipuno niyang likuran, those strong shoulders, and that hair na kahit ano pang tangle mo ay mukha pa ring model ang dating.
Its been over 8 long years pero ni bahid ng kahit ano ay wala akong makita sa kanya. Hindi pa rin siya nagbago. He still looks like the boy who accepted me. He still looks like the boy who broke me. And it even breaks me more seeing him today.
