Chapter 1 Unknown Salvation

A few minutes later, the castle is overrun by the demons; the men's numbers are crippling while the figure that was the first to break in the castle, walked towards the throne room. Meanwhile at a room that seemed to be fashioned for a baby(s) there stood a woman with armor; five golden horns sticking out on the back of the armor and her belly noticeably fat, could she be pregnant?

"The remaining time of my life may be already written but your lives are not given a set in stone life. My children, I love all of you with what remains of my heart, now may the Well of New Beginnings secure you all"

She said to nine small babies that sleep in the crib, she heard screams and footsteps that stomps closer to the room. She grabs the group of babies as she wraps them with a piece a huge piece cloth and wrapped it around her shoulders like a strap backpack; she went behind the crib as she pulls down a lever, a small secret door opening on the walls. She crouches down as she walked through the door, the secret escape tunnel closing. Then suddenly, someone crashes into the room that follows with yelling

"Where are they! Men, secure every room in the castle and make sure you give those children alive along with the head of that witch!!"

The voice said as the demons nodded, as several noises can be heard crashing down; the room being torn down. The noise started to startled the babies, causing some of them to let out whimpers as signs that they're gonna cry. The woman gets worried as she starts humming a sleepy lullaby quietly to make sure the demons won't hear them as she crawls; she knew that this won't put the babies back to sleep but it should calm the babies to buy her enough time.

From a small room, a panel on the wall opens as the woman walk out with the babies that are laying in the cloth somewhat calmly. The room has multiple shelves with books about ancient ruins to secret magical techniques and in a center a giant well that is filled with some sort of blue liquid substance. She runs towards the back of the room that has a back door and opens it; the door leads to a tunnel that has torches attached on to each side of the tunnel. She then ran as fast as she could, deeper into the tunnel until she reached a group of civilians that is composed of people of all ages. The people look towards the woman and bows down to her

"Everyone, our armies have almost been extinguished but their sacrifices won't be in vain. We shall relocate and build, I know the demons have taken much from us and we want our revenge but we must hide. But...there's something that I must do something first"

She then looked down at the children that lays against her cloth and thought to herself that these children will only be in danger. She then looked back at everyone else

"Everyone we must reach the end of this tunnel before the demons find out about the secret tunnel!"

She said as everyone continued moving. Meanwhile explosions can be heard from the surface, the men that's left being slaughtered or held captive to be slaves and buildings being burned down. Some of the civilians cry as they hear their home get burn down by the monsters. At the end of the tunnel is another door, some people open it up revealing a huge river that runs by the exit. Suddenly a large wooden sail boat sails down, stopping by the crowd. On the boat is a bunch of people such as a small girl with a wand, a woman with a wizard hat along with armor, and a man with a casino outfit.

A ramp launches that lands on the ground, a large figure approaches the group; wearing monk clothing with a large bamboo stick on his shoulders with a straw hat on his head. He moves the hat up, revealing a panda like face; the woman approached the humanoid panda as she handed her the huge cloth that carried the babies, the panda took the babies as the civilians ran in the boat.

"Are you sure that this boat can take my people to safety Po'Tchari?"

She asked as Po'Tchari nodded, he placed his hand on her shoulder as he gave her a comforting smile; even with his large intimidating appearance he seems like a teddy bear that can comfort someone.

"The boat has enough space and I know a secret route that no demon has ever seen. Plus are you sure that you're trusting me with these children?"

Po'Tchari asked as he strapped the cloth around his shoulders, the babies resting against the panda's chubby belly. The woman gives a nod as she caresses the babies heads

"Yes even thought they might never seen me again, as long as I'm alive the demons will keep chasing after us. I know that this will put you in risk but I'm sure someone else can take care of them if you can't"

The woman said as Po lets out a chuckle and looked down at the eight babies, letting out a chuckle as he helped the woman in the sail boat. Po takes out a bottle and starts drinking some sort of strange potion; he then exhaled, releasing a blast of wind at the sail that causes the boat to quickly sail away from the burning castle. Po walked towards the woman in armor as they both nod to each other. The Mage takes out a staff that has a rune imbedded onto it, she waves it into a circle as a man size portal appears. Po then looked over at the woman concerned

"I trust you to take these people to the located location that we talked about? I can stay longer just in case"

Po asked as the mage shook her head, looking towards the babies with a smile on her face. She leans over and pets one of the babies heads then looked back at Po

"These children are priority, they potentially hold the future to our salvation and maybe to the end of the wretched demons. Now hurry go into the portal"

The woman said as Po nodded, he looked over at the pregnant woman as the two nodded to each other. Po walked into the portal then the woman quickly closes it. The mage inhales as she aimed her staff at the tip of the boat, she moved her hand in a circular motion; a large portal appears in front of the ship, the ship then sailed inside the portal. As the ship slips into the portal, the pregnant woman lets out a tear as she looked out in the sky

"Please...live on, all eight of you will be our kingdom's salvation and possibly everyone's even the demons"

The lady said to herself as the portal suddenly closes

In the middle of a bamboo forest, a wooden shack lays there. In the shack seemed to have a the basic rooms for living such as a kitchen and a few bed rooms. One bedroom seemed old but looked like it was cleaned up, a boy is snoring loudly on a bed.
