Chapter 5

This is mostly Bella's story from the first movie till when Edward left her and some more for my version of the story, if you don't want to read the backstory it's fine but closer to the end is something that wasn't in the movies or books so please read.🤗

I woke up after a very long night if you know what I mean ;)
I turn to my side to see Klaus sleeping peacefully next to me. I start to kiss up his chest wanting him to wake up. "Nik wake up I'm bored and I want to talk."
I hear him groan and role over on to his back."Why?" He says
"Because I want us to get to know each other.....please!"
He sighs and looks at me with love.
"Fine my love, you first. How has the last year of your life been?" He asks with a smile.
I try not to be sad about everything that happened since it all lead up to this but I can't help it. My face contorts into a frown.
"Love?" He questions
"It's okay I will talk about it. Last year I moved to Forks from my home in Phoenix to live with my dad since my mom had re-married and he travels a lot for baseball. When I moved there I wasn't as out going as I am now but I quickly made a few friends. I had noticed a handsome boy named Edward who I was instantly drawn to, he left for a few days after a small interaction and I thought he hated me. He came back a week later and we became a bit closer. A car almost killed me and he was able to stop it with his bare hands, I was more then confused. I finally figured out what he was after I was on the beach with my friend who was a shifter and had told me stories of cold ones. That's what they were...... vampire's but not like the ones here in Mystic Falls. They would shine in the sun and their eyes would be red if they feed off humans and gold if it was off animals, black if they were hungry. These particular cold ones fed on animals."
"Bella....."
"No let me finish please"
He gave me a pleading look but eventually let me continue.
"He told me that I was his mate and so we started dating"
Klaus started to growl and I shot him a glare
"He told me he loved me, we kissed and we were good but we never did what we did last night.....and I'm so glad. One day we were playing baseball during a thunderstorm because of how hard they would hit the ball, the thunder concealed it. Edward had a gift, he could read minds. But he could never read mine. His adopted brother Jasper was an empath and could alter emotions, and his adopted sister Alice could see the future. Alice saw some nomads coming into the clearing as they heard us playing. They are like vampires without a coven and they feed off humans. They could conceal me until the tracker James caught my scent. He tracked me all the way back to Phoenix where there was a ballet studio I used to go to saying he had my mom held there. He then broke my leg and cracked my skull. By then Edward came and was fighting him, but James bit my wrist before Edward could stop him."
I showed him my wrist pulling it out from under the covers.
"Edward was able to suck the venom out almost killing me in the process. Everything was fine at prom, but my birthday came around and they planned a party at their house. Edward's brother Jasper was new to the vegetarian diet but it wasn't his fault what happened. I was opening a gift from Edward's parents, it was a ticket to see my mom back in Phoenix. I had planned on becoming a cold one and living the rest of my life with Edward. I got a paper cut opening the package and a tiny drop of blood fell from my finger. Everything was fine until Edward caught a whiff, I am his singer, my blood is like a drug to him. Jasper felt Edward's blood lust along with everyone else's and he charged after me. I don't know if it was to protect me or drain me dry but I don't blame him. Edward pushed me into glass and I got cut all up my arm and it was chaotic. He ended up bringing me into the woods after school the next day saying he had something to say to me. He wasn't at school and I was worried. He brought me there to tell me he was leaving, me being naive thought I would go to.....we were mates for all I knew. I was wrong, he told me he didn't want me and left me wandering around the woods till all hours to the night getting hypothermia. One of the shifters found me and brought me home. My friend Jacob (who had helped me realize what the Cullen vampires were) shifted into one of the Quileute wolves. He wasn't allowed to talk to me because I was the "vampire girl" though it seems I was part wolf all along. I lost my best friend I was utterly alone. I wanted to end my life. I just wanted to be gone from the world thinking that no one would miss me. I tried to do it, to kill myself and end my pain, but my dad found me a took me to the hospital." I showed the cut on my bite free arm on the main artery and then the deep cuts on both my thighs. I could see Klaus crying and full of worry and anger. I wiped his tears away and smiled sadly. "I decided that I needed to leave. To go somewhere different and get away from everything. I remembered my cousin Elena so I came here, she was always there for me. Then you showed up and you make me so happy...thank you Nik."
He looked at me speechless and with a billion emotions. He leaned in a kissed me with all the love he could muster up. "Thank you for sharing. And you will never have to worry about the Cullens as long as I'm here with you. I never want you to harm yourself again my love, please for me don't do it again it makes my heart ache." He looked at me pleasingly
"I'll try not to Nik I will try. I love you"
"I love you to little wolf."

That was a ton of writing. Normal chapters won't be this long but for some reason this one decided to be 1159 words. Like okay then.
