I open my eyes to see my daughter peering down at me, I groan and slowly get up. I look up towards the door and see my husband smirking and leaning against the doorway.
"Let's go on vacation, it will be fun and peaceful they said" I mock my husband
"Caspian give your sister back her charger before she pops a blood vessel" I say while yawning
I close my eyes and hear a slight thump signaling what I can only imagine was caspian throwing the charger and hitting Rio in the back of the head. I open my eyes to see Rio taking off after Caspian. Colby chuckles then proceeds to come over to the bed. He kisses the top of my head.
"We certainly raised interesting children"
"At this time in the morning, they are your children not mine" I yawn
I finally find the energy I need to actually get up. After my slow attempt to get out of bed, I head to our hotel room's kitchen. The bright Australian sun beaming into the room, making everything appear brighter. I sigh and start to make me a cup of coffee. I hear footsteps approach, I peer up to see that my lovely children had entered the room and sat at the counter across from me.
"Mom could Lachlan—" Rio started till Colby cut her off, "No"
Rio and I both roll our eyes at his antics and I just nod at her, answering her question.
"Hey mom, since it's our last day in Australia" Caspian starts, "could we possibly split up today and do different things?"
"Hahaha you wish little nephew" Alexa's voice rings through the hotel room with our door shutting after her.
I raise my eyebrow as my small best friend and her family enter the room. Jon and Colby do that weird bro hug thing as Mads with the baby, flops on the couch. My kids instantly go join Mads on the couch. Jon quickly jumps on Colby, starting their everyday banter. I turn to my left to see my small best friend holding baby Christopher, who I snatched instantly. After cooing at his adorableness, I look up at my family and ask.
"Okay guys, what's on the agenda for today?"
"JET SKIS" "BOAT" "OPERA HOUSE" " THE SYDNEY BRIDGE", a flood of excited yells ring out in answer
"Shut up Colby, no one wants to go to the lame buildings" Jon said followed by a quick "ow" due to him being smacked by Alexa.
"Knock it off, I have two children not three" Alexa looked at him
Colby stuck his tongue out at him which resulted in me hitting him. Finally to get us back on track, Madilyn fake coughed.
"Soooo can we please go rent a boat and jet skisssss?" Rio pleads
"Pleassssseeeeeee" Mads and Caspian plead along with her
"I mean I'm cool with it as long as there is a place for Christopher and I to lay" Alexa chimes in
"TO THE RENTAL PLACE WE GO" Jon screams and runs out the door with Colby running behind them.
The rest of us look at each other shaking our heads and agree to meet up in an hour or so.

Ring, Ring, Ring
"Hello?" A thick Australian accent enters my ears
"Hey L" I smile into the phone
"Rio! Hey what's up" he asks as he yawns
"Shit did I wake you up or something?" I quickly panic
"No no! I was just up late" he reassured me
"Oh okay good, anyways I was wondering if you had no plans if you wanted to tag along with me and my obnoxious family today?" I ask nervously
"FUCKING RUDE" I hear Caspian yell, signaling he heard the obnoxious family part. I mean him doing that pretty much explains why I said that.
"I'd love you"
"Huh what" I shake out of my thought
"I said I'd love to" his laughter fills my ears making me smile, 'way to go Rio you fucking awkward piece of shit'.
"Sorry, Caspian was being annoying but we are all meeting up in an hour. I'll send you my location" I awkwardly recover
"Sounds good, see you then Rio" He says and hangs up
"Yeahhh see you then" I say to no one
"Well that was fucking awkward to witness" Caspian laughs but has to quickly duck as I chuck my phone at him.
"RIO AND CASPIAN GET YOUR ASSES OUT HERE AND HELP ME!" I hear my mom scream
Oh can't wait to see how this day goes
