"Dead? You're mothers dead?..." Joe said before tearing up. After about 2 minutes of sobbing and grieving, his dad looked down at Max and asked, "Who killed her and how?" Anger rumbling in his voice.
"A guy named Kaine. He hacked his way into our Cores. He plans on destroying our family. I can stop him though, I know how. That's what happened to Uncle Bo. Please you have to let me help." Max said. "Son, no. I can handle this." Joe said. "Dad, NO! I don't want you to die too!" Max said.
Just then Max felt another wave of pain. Almost worse than the pain before. The world went black. "Maaaxx! Don't tell your father about my little plan or I will eliminate you now." Kaine said. Max thought. "Maybe I can Hal my way in his Core now while I have him." Max began to focus on Kaine's code.
The man had so many firewalls protecting him, but Max hacked through them. Max found the code he was looking for. His pain code. He added a few pain scenes from other games to that line of code. "AGH!!" Max heard Kaine yell.
Max woke up. The world was silent. His dad was no where to be seen.
