"me? of course!" jungkook happily grins before extending his hands out. but as he caught a good look at the little girl's features, jungkook finds himself being in a complete confusion.

nonetheless, he brings the girl into his embrace, and somehow... as soon as he manage to hold her in his embrace... he could feel a sudden rush of sadness flowing in him...

...and that leads him to cry out of the blue, alarming everyone, including miyeon.

"uncle...?" miyeon could feel her hair getting wet as jungkook continues to sob silently. "are you okay...? why are you crying...?"

the unexpected father-daughter reunion made joohyun quite emotional, as she bit her lips as hard as she could, trying to stop herself from crying.

joohyun hates jungkook so much. in her eyes, jungkook is a selfish bastard whom had destroyed her sister's life. if it wasn't for him, yeri would have been a top star by now, receiving all the love she deserves.

but no, jungkook threw yeri aside, all for the sake of his career. since then, joohyun never once bats an eyelash towards the younger guy. every inch of her despise jungkook's presence.

but now... as she look at how jungkook is crying helplessly in the arms of his daughter... joohyun realizes how she is the one whom have been selfish all along...

after the news of yeri leaving, jungkook have knelt in front of red velvet's dorm for almost one month, every single day, trying to find yeri... but she was blinded with rage. she yelled at him and kicked him out, every single time.

now that she look back... jungkook have never once be seen with other females. there are so many females out there who are more than willing to throw their bodies at him, but he didn't even bat an eyelash. if he truly didn't love yeri, then he could obviously look for another girl. with his godly looks and fame, it wouldn't be hard at all.

but throughout those six years, he patiently wait for yeri...

joohyun could now see... how she had judged the younger male so badly...

afraid that she would burst into tears, joohyun tugs taehyung's arms before dragging him outside. the others, too, did the same, as they do not want to disturb the emotional reunion between the seperated father and daughter.

"don't cry, dad..."

hearing how miyeon unconciously called him dad, jungkook sobs even more, as he buries his face into miyeon's hair. "i'm sorry... i'm so sorry..."

"it's okay, dad... it's okay..."

miyeon gently pats her father's head. her mother would always use this method to stop her from crying.

jungkook takes a deep, deep breath to calm himself down. he looks down, as he stares at his daughter's eyes, which looks exactly like his pretty ones. he then untangle the strap of miyeon's mask, before pulling it down, revealing his daughter's cute features. her cheek dimples and eyes are after his, but her nose, lips and cheekbones are the exact copy of yeri's.

...is this the daughter that he refused to take responsible of...?

oh god...

seeing how jungkook is once again in the urge of crying, miyeon quickly grasp her father's face in her small hands. "don't cry, dad..." jungkook couldn't help but to smile, seeing miyeon struggling to speak korean.

he holds her closer into his arms. "i'm sorry..."

even if he says sorry for a million times, it will never be enough to mend the pain he had given both yeri and his daughter.

"dad..."

"yes?" jungkook couldn't hide his grin behind his tears as miyeon naturally calls him dad.

"why did you take a long time to find me..." miyeon speaks in fluent english, making jungkook to frown at first, as he tries his best to comprehend her words.

finally understanding miyeon's words, jungkook gently tucks the strands of miyeon's hair behind her small ear. "i did try... to find you..." jungkook replies hesitantly, not really sure whether miyeon could understand his broken english or not.

miyeon smiles encouragingly at her father's uncertain face. "but... i was afraid... i will... hurt your mother... even more..." jungkook smiles sadly.

"however... i never... stopped... searching for you... and your mother...

...i'm sorry... my daughter."

miyeon unconciously tears up when jungkook acknowledges her as his daughter. she buries her small face against jungkook's shoulders, as she uses her small hands to tug the adult closer towards her.

"don't leave... me... and mom... again... dad..."

"i would never... jeon miyeon..."
