I ran back in the house to warn my mother only to find a man behind her with a knife to her throat.
Now you may be wondering why this frightened me so much, I mean we come back to life after we die right?
Well its not actually that simple, most the time it takes at least a week before a person regenerates.
Not only that but when a person comes back they have no recollection of there old life, and they are regenerated in the capitol where the authorities can either choose to use the memories they keep to give them back there old life or construct an entire new life for them usually as slaves of the capitol unless they had important political roles in witch case the capitol will give them there memories and hold them there as long as they see fit.
So....Now that we have that out of the way, lets continue shall we.
No I yelled at the bastard standing behind my mother, He only grinned, and winked before digging the blade deeper into her neck.
Growling I brought the pistol I had grabed up and made as though to shoot but the gun didn't have amo in it, and I had neglected to grab any.
Dammit I hissed, The man laughed as he raised his own gun from his side and said in a gruff and amused voice "well what a wonderful idea" then he shot her.
