The scream and cries of a queen in labor echo through the silent castle halls, followed by a quiet cry of a new born girl. The queen exhales, her shaky and face drenched in sweat and relief. The castle nurse brings the baby girl toward the queen to hold. The queen takes her in her arms and says to her husband standing to her right," What should we name her?" Her tone was gentle, but still full of pain.
"We should call her," the king started, " Chloe," they both said in unison.
As soon as the queen recovered, the towns men and women celebrated the new born girl, Chloe. People were dancing near the towns hall while musicians play cheerfully in the streets with their happy tunes. While the king and queen were inside the castle listening to the muffled music and cheers of the town through the walls, the queen humming to her new baby girl, an old hunchback lady came waddling toward their majesties. She is known as the kingdoms sorcerer.
"Your majesty, I have encountered a curse among your very own little girl," the sorcerer began.
"What is this curse you speak?" the king questioned.
"Your daughter is the next Dragon Master," the sorcerer watched the couple turn toward each other with puzzled looks. The king turned back toward the sorcerer.
"What is this so called Dragon Master?" the king asked.
"Well you see," the sorcerer started. "It began long before our time, during the Dragon age. This period held thousands and thousands of dragons from all kinds of breeds. These dragons would terrorize towns people and destroy their villages until there were nothing but ashes on the ground. No one could stop these beasts from hell, except for one that holds the ability to control their minds and bond with the dragons. One man that remains anonymous to his true name, so everyone calls him the Dragon Master. He holds all of the secrets to every dragon that he laid eyes on, but there was only one he could never tame, and that was the Crookhorn Laviathen. Alas, he only encountered it once and it was his last. Ever since his death, there is always a new Dragon master born and your little one is the heir of the legend. That birthmark on her arm is proof of that," The sorcerer paused, letting the king and queen absorb every detail she spoke of and examine Chole's birthmark. She began again," But since princess Chloe is a dragon master, that only means there is a dragon near by."
A loud screech came from outside the castle walls, followed by screams and yells from town people. The kings stomach dropped.
"You must hurry your majesty, I already informed the guards to prepare a ship. You must go now!" the sorcerer yelled while the king and queen were already out the doors and heading toward the castle docks. A few guards followed around the kings and queen.
"You," the king pointed to one the of the guards. " Gather some more guards and help the town evacuate," the guard nodded his head and sprinted away frome the king to obtain more guards.
The kings and queen reached the dock and boarded the ship, ready to get out of this terror that filled their joyous day.
The ship was off to an island the royal family kept for emergency, but it was going to be a long journey. The queen looked toward her kingdom one last time, and for the first time in over a century, a dragon was looming over a kingdom setting fire to everything in its way.

                                                                        *************************************************

"PIRATES!" one of the ship men yelled.
"Fiona, take Chloe and head under deck. I'll stay here and fight them off," said the king. He had fear in his eyes. Not the fear of fighting the pirates, but the fear of leaving behind his beloved wife and new born child. He was afraid of leaving his family, and possibly forever. He knew he had to fight with his men until the very end and protect his family. He knew this was the best option.
Fiona knew it was the best decision as well, and knew it was pointless to argue against it. "Okay," Fiona said. She placed a kiss on the kings lips, hoping it was not  going to be the last kiss she ever gets from him. She knew deep down, though, that it just might. The king pulled away and then placed a kiss on Chloe's forehead.
" Go" the king whispered under the chaos in the back round. Fiona did not hesitate and went below deck. For a slight second, she can see pirates jumping onto the ship along with the king watching her go below deck before going into battle. She quickly shuts the door and sits in the corner bravely waiting while listening to the clashing of swords and yells from the men when  they get slashed by one.
Fiona soon hears the deck door creak open, revealing a louder volume of the men. She panics, looking frantically to hide, not only herself but her baby girl. She cant find anything to hide the both of then, so she goes close to a barrel, quietly opening the lid and placing princess Chloe inside.
Popping noises from old wood could be heard not only 3 feet from queen Fiona. She sets the lid cautiously and sits herself on the boat floor, ready to face what the pirates have in store her once she is discovered.
It wasn't hard or the pirates to find her.
" Well, look what we have 'ere. A royal on board," the pirate spoke. "Its queen Fiona! Say what brings ya' out 'ere in these rough seas? This is not something for a royal like ya'?" The pirate said with a grin.
Fiona created a confidence stance, lifting her head bravely toward the pirates. " It wouldn't matter to you. You're just a filthy pirate who would steal anything they think is valuable," spatted the queen.
" I never liked royals. What should we do wit' 'er?" grunted the pirate.
"We should sell 'er," a pirate suggested.
"We should take 'er in and play wit' 'er a bit," another pirate suggested.
"I have a better idea," said the main pirate. " How 'bout we just kill 'er!" The pirate unsheathed his sword and plunged it into the queen chest, piercing her heart. She became motionless. Blood poured out if her chest along with her mouth.
The pirates chuckled and started to take the barrels and supplies to the upper deck, and crossed planks to their ship and load the equipment.
In the upper deck, the king is swinging his word left from right. He moves his sword over his chest to counter an attack. he turns and plunges the sword into a pirate. He spins around to face another pirate that attempts to stab the kings, but fails. When the lifeless body of the pirate falls, another pirate comes into view. A more broader, bigger pirate. A familiar one.
"Hello Lucas," said the familiar pirate. "Its been a while hasn't it, brother."  The king straightens his stance, focusing on his brother.
"Hello Lucifer, it has been a while," Luca spoke. He charges at lucifer, but he blocks the blow, making their blades clash together. Lucas slides his blade off Lucifers and tries to land another blow on him, but fails again.
"You know that i was always a better swordsman between the both of us, don't you?" Lucifer said.
"Lucifer, it doesn't have to be this way!" Lucas exclaimed.
"Oh, but it can," Lucifer said sinisterly. They disconnect their sword and Lucifer spins around to slash Lucas's throat. Lucas falls to his knees and collapse to the ground. Lucifer takes his dead brother, drags him, and throws him overboard. He walk the the edge of the ship, and bounces onto a plank. He walks onto his ship and into the captains room, where he will enjoy some brandy.
The remaining pirates finish off the last of the castle guards and load the supplies they found on the royal ship onto their ship. The pirates shout HOORAH, and leave back to their ships. One of the pirates lit a match and throw it onto the royal ship.

                                                                       **************************************************

The ship stopped at an island that holds small village. The pirate start to unload the supplies they gathered from the royal ship onto the small island to sell. A young pirate that is new to the crew was helping unload the supplies. He picked up a barrel and started to walk down the a plank onto the docks when he started to hear crying coming from it. He placed down the barrel and opened it to find princess Chole, but of course he didn't know that. H panicked trying to hush the crying princess, but it was no use. He placed the lid of the barrel back on and started to carry it away from the other supplies and into the village.
"OI!" shouted a pirate. The young pirate jumped and turned to the man. " What do ya' think yer' doin' wit' that barrel?" the man yelled.
"Takin' it back 'ome," the young pirate shouted back.
   "Why?!" the man yelled again.
"It empty. I need a barrel for me chickens," the young pirate replied. The older pirate didn't seem to mind so he went back to his work. The young pirate stared at the man until he knew he was safe to leave.
The young pirate entered his dark home.
" Mum, dad, I'm home," the young pirate called.
" We're in here Charles," said a sweet, warm voice. Charles makes his way to the the room where the sweet voice came from. He spots his mom and dad in the lounge.
   " Mum, dad, i found a baby."
