But, instead of getting angry as Enzo expected, Scarlett's mom bent down to his level.
Anong pangalan mo, iho?
Enzo, po. Nahihiya niyang sagot.
Marami kaming pagkain sa loob. Pasok ka. Scarlett, anak, let's go in na.
They all entered the house and Enzo was served plates and plates of food and he just ate and ate and ate.
Scarlett's mom went on to talk to the other adults.
Wow, sarap naman nito! He said in between bites of hotdog and chewing spaghetti.
Siyempre luto yan ng Mama ko. Scarlett boasted. Enzo just continued to contently munch his food.
Sige, kain ka muna diyan. Maglalaro muna ako sa labas. Enzo nodded as Scarlett scurried off outside.

After eating, Enzo decided to join Scarlett outside. All the kids were playing hide and seek.
Scarlett was running to hide under the table of food when she tripped and fell.
She reached for the table to hold on to something, but instead grabbed a platter of red icing, that was supposed to be for a game later on. It went straight on her face.
Enzo was the only one who saw her and he went to her and started laughing.
Hahaha! Lampa ka pala! Haha! He said in-between laughs.
Scarlett gave him a mean look.
Enzo was unfazed. Talagang bagay na sa'yo ang pangalan mo! Simula ngayon tatawagin na kitang Red. Hahaha! Tingnan mo yang mukha mo pulang-pula. Hahaha!
Scarlett wiped some of the icing off her face at look at it. A light bulb went on. She had an idea.
Enzo was still laughing so hard, that he didn't notice her come right to him with another platter of red icing. She smashed it right into his face.
He swallowed on some of it and started choking and coughing.
This time it was Scarlett's turn to laugh.
Hahahaha! Yan kasi napapala mo! Ng aasar ka kasi.
Ah, ganon pala ha... Enzo got some icing from his face and began to wipe it on Scarlett, who started running away.
They chased each other around the backyard laughing and trying to wipe icing on one another. Scarlett found a hose and started spraying water on Enzo. Enzo found another hose and tried to water her down.
They were all smiles. Water fight! They shouted.
A couple seconds later, all the other kids joined them.

The party was over and all the kids were gone except Enzo.
Nasa labas sila ng bahay, ang mga magulang ni Scarlett, si Scarlett at si Enzo.
Enzo, hatid ka na namin. San ba mga magulang mo? San ba kayo nakatira? Tanong ng Mama ni Scarlett.
Enzo lowered his head and tried to smile when he looked up again.
