Sonic and Steven universe crossover

The truth part 2

*Steven's p.o.v*

I couldn't believe it... my own mother was Pink Diamond the whole time, the war she started, the corrupted gems... it was all her. She started this whole thing, truly I felt betrayed. To think my own mom would lie to everyone about who she was. And the worst part was that Pearl knew about this the whole time but never opened her mouth because her "Diamond" ordered her not to tell anyone. And yet she would always say she belonged to no one. I felt horrible from the first day I was shown what happened, the sick feelings in my stomach and the never ending thought I was nothing more than a tool for her. just some excuse to escape what she had created. Even after everyone saw was a disaster, Garnet defused, Amethyst went into her room crying, Pearl just stood there, Sonic and his friends were blowing steam, especially Sawyer who ran off and transformed into his soulless form, Lapis was trying to comfort me the best she could, and Jasper was sitting silent on the couch with Peridot and Bismuth. I remained upstairs for most of the week, Lapis would always be sitting with me and trying to be as supportive as she could. Which I appreciated, if she wasn't there to make me eat I would be starving right now. After a while Connie came over too and I told her what happened, she begged her family to stay over at my house for a few days to make sure I was ok. Even telling her parents what had happened with knowing Rose's past. I stopped calling her my mom cause no mom should lie to her family. But luck would have it someone found a way to get some answers. Tails walked up to me with a pink diamond duplicate in his hands and told me that Knuckles was working on something in the shrine. We walked to the cave and waited for him to come out.

"Alright guys! I got it set up! Come in!" He yelled from the inside, everyone walked in to see the fake diamond spinning in the air. Suddenly I felt something pulled out of me as a glowing trail left my gem and went into the fake diamond. Suddenly a figure began to take form, long pink hair, a white dress, a gem as her belly button. It was Rose, I felt anger hit me as I laid my eyes on her.

"Huh? How am I here?" She said, looking around the cavern we were in. Garnet, Amethyst, Jasper and I spawned our weapons in preparation if she decided to do something. Bismuth just turned her hands into hammers.  

"ROSE!" Pearl yelled as she leapt into Rose's arms, and here I thought she would have gotten over it by now. "Oh, Rose I missed you so much!" Sonic soon walked forward in front of all of us and scoffed.

"So. The coward finally decides to show her face? pitiful! A true warrior wouldn't rely on her spawn to fix a mistake that she started!" He shouted, gaining Rose's attention. She let Pearl go and walked over to him.

"Excuse me but I never would do such a thing. Who are you anyway? You don't look like any of the animals on this planet?" she said, reaching out to his face. "SLAP!" Sonic slapped her hand away and scowled at her.

"Why don't you stop playing stupid and show us who you really are Pink Diamond!" He yelled in her face, she looked horrified, sweat and worry planted on her face. Shadow then stepped forward, his eyes glowing a faint red color.

"That's right! We know who you really are! Not so innocent, now are you?! Did you think you could hide forever?! All the lies you told just to have your own fun huh?! Well guess what?! Once he's done getting his answers, *Points at me* I'm gonna shatter you for real!" Shadow yelled, grabbing a rock and roughly clutching it in his fist, making a sickening crunch as the rock broke into pieces for demonstration. She looks over at me with surprise and walked over to me.

"Son?" She whispers, I look away from her and puts my fists to the side.

"Pink Diamond...." I said through my teeth, she tried to reach out to me, but a pair of gauntlets got in her way.

"Don't even think you have the right to even lay a finger on my cutie pie!" Garnet shouted, shoving Pink away from me. Amethyst, Lapis, Peridot, Bismuth and Jasper soon joined in the barricade. I saw everyone angry but calm except Lapis who had her teeth grinding against each other.
