- nayeon

i was the first to leave the stage when it was finally our time to rest again.

i rushed to the station,

even if i was exhausted and currently out of breath.

i stopped when i reached the door and quickly opened it.

the first thing i want to see right now is jeongyeon.

and,

much to my relief,

she's resting.

i approached one our managers and asked,

"is she going to be okay?"

she nodded and replied,

"jeongyeon will be fine, don't worry. although she might not be able to perform for the rest of the setlist."

"no! i-i can perform."

all the occupants,

including me,

were taken aback to see jeongyeon awake.

she was attempting to sit up,

but i beat her to it by leaning down and ceasing her from moving further.

"it's not a good idea to perform right now, jeongyeon. you need to rest."

jeongyeon looked at me -

with apologetic eyes and slow breaths -

and i can not help but feel the need to cry and wrap her in my arms.

"but our special stage...i can't ditch you."

i smiled,

hoping that it would reassure her.

"it's okay. we can replace our special stage with a group performance. all you need to do is rest."

i heard footsteps from behind me,

indicating that the rest of the group are here.

she paused for a bit to look at the members,

and i can tell that they're surprised to see her awake too.

"okay."
