"Excited to see you here!"

"Really?" Jimin asked amused as the coach nodded. "Sure, now bring the water over."

Jimin's smile suddenly faded. How embarrassing to be a waterboy when your ideal position was a quarter back?

Did Jimin even know how to play football? No, of course he didn't. But, when he set his mind to it he learned and he wasn't a straight A student for nothing.

He walked to grab the water holder tray as he fixed the cups. He poured some in and closed the lids as he filled them up.

"Water, Park! Give the water to 10!"

Jimin instantly ran across to number ten. By the time he reached him he was breathless. Maybe football wasn't for him after all.

The brown haired boy took a cup and just as he lifted it up to drink it spilled all over him. Jimin had forgotten to tighten that cap on. The player had to pick the one that he forgot to.

"You had one damn job, Park! One job!" The coach screamed across the field.

"I'm sorry coach! I will do better! And I'm so sorry to you too."

Jimin's face grew red in embarrassment as he put the holder down on the ground. He took off his bandana and tried to wipe the water from the guys face.

"It's clean I promise! I just wore it because I thought it made me look sporty."

The guy stepped back laughing. "Dude, it's fine. I needed a refreshment either way. Thanks for the water."

Jimin nodded ashamed, "Okay, once again I'm sorry."

"Nakamoto back to the game! Park get over here and tighten those caps on! You can't be wasting water like that, okay?"

Jimin picked up the holder once again and ran back to the sidelines. Fuck, he really did have one job and he managed to fuck it up.

He spotted number seven laughing at him and even though he couldn't see his face he knew who it was.

Impossible to mistaken his pale skin.

"You didn't do so bad." Hoseok said in an encouraging way. He approached an unsettled, Jimin.

"That player got wet because of me!"

"Yuta didn't care." Hoseok assured as he took a sip of water.

"I want to be the best waterboy this team has ever had. I've never failed at being the best at something and this won't be my first time."

"You're taking this to another level. You just need to take water."

"No uh! Oh! He finally texted back." Jimin said as he pulled out his phone. He smiled cheekily at his phone.

"Ugh, you're still with him?" Hoseok asked disgusted.

"Yes." He responded with a frown. He hated that his best friend didn't approve of him.

"Why're you with him again? Isn't he a fuckboy? That always takes you for granted and plays with your feelings?"

"Hoseok!" Jimin scolded. "I don't appreciate you talking bad about him. He's my boyfriend, okay? I would like for you to try to like him. At least for me."

Hoseok almost scoffed. He didn't like being so mean to his best friend. It's just the fact that he knew the type of boy his "boyfriend" was.

Jimin was simply too pure and naive to know his intentions.

"I'm sorry, Jimin. I'm not going to sugarcoat it. He's obnoxious, thinks he's the shit, and on top of that he's just trying to—"

"Hey, waterboy! I need water."

Jimin looked up and landed eyes on Min Yoongi. He was with Jungkook who was running his fingers through his hair.

Jimin gulped nervously. He didn't understand why Yoongi made him so flustered. Maybe it was his arrogance or his high self-esteem. Either way, Jimin found it fascinatingly attractive."

"He has a name you know." Hoseok responded. Yoongi huffed annoyed at him. He was really trying to get tackled.

"It's okay." Jimin mumbled.

"No, fuck that. Don't take him no water. He can come get it himself."

"It's my job."

"Practice is over. So technically you don't have to."

"It's fine. I'll go."

Jimin grabbed two bottles and slowly walked to Yoongi and Jungkook. "Here you go." He quietly said as he handed one to him.

Yoongi smirked, "Didn't forget to tighten the cap?"

Jimin shook his head embarrassed. He glanced at Jungkook who was still messing with his hair.

He took note of his biceps and gulped feeling himself turn bright red. "Thank you." Jungkook responded.

Jimin bowed five times before excusing himself. Yoongi laughed making the boy only more sheepish.

"Shit, I need to stop embarrassing myself." Jimin said when he got back to Hoseok.

Hoseok glanced at the pair and noticed how they looked at Jimin. Minutes later, they walked by and handed Jimin the empty bottles.

"Bye, waterboy." Yoongi said with a smile.

Jimin blinked uncontrollably feeling tongue tied. Yoongi smirked walking away and whispering something to, Jungkook.

"This isn't right." Hoseok said randomly. Jimin snapped back to reality and stopped looking at Yoongi.

"What?"

"He doesn't talk to anyone without wanting something."

"Okay, I see how you are. You don't think a cute boy can talk to me, huh?" He said crossing his arms across his chest.

Hoseok rolled his eyes, "It's not even like that. Come on let's go eat. I'm starving."

Jimin smiled uncrossing his arms, "Fine! If you insist. But you're paying."

"Okay that's fine."

And just like that he wasn't offended anymore.
