A year ago today,
we celebrated you in love
and a possible future together.
Now, it's just nothing, nothing.
Time flies,
but never knew t'will take
a precious bond with it
as it took flight.
You might be out of love
but I am not.
You might've forgotten
about what we shared
on this day a year ago
but I have not.
Even if I don't get
to celebrate this day with you,
I have the memories of yesterday
to make it memorable
and I hope you do too.
People fall in love
and people fall out of love.
Yes, that happens
and it has happened to us too!
But don't ever fall out of memory
of what we shared
not even on a special day like this.
